September 27, 2023To już trzeci komiks z serii BOMBA I PTYŚ i tak jak poprzednio jestem zauroczona!To przeurocze pozycje, które mnie totalnie rozczulają. Tom 3 BOMBA I PTYŚ ORAZ NIEŚMIAŁA ZJAWA dodatkowo ujęła mnie tematem i to podwójnie. Po pierwsze - bo kocham duchy i zjawy. Pod drugie - bo jest o nieśmiałości i o tym, że nieśmiały często równa się niewidoczny.
Mark Bradley zarówno rewelacyjnie rysuje i świetnie dobiera kolory - całość jest pełna energii i optymizmu, jak i ma lekkie i mądre pióro. Dialogi są naturalne, przyjemne, dowcipne i pokrzepiające. Uważam, że to jeden z najlepszych twórców komiksów dla dzieci.
Ta seria z miejsca przypomina jedną z moich ulubionych bajek BARBAPAPA i to podobieństwo jest korzystne dla całości. Lubię bohaterów tej historii, są uczciwi, poczciwi i mają dobre serduszka. BOMBA I PTYŚ, to przemiła seria!
NIEŚMIAŁA ZJAWA porusza temat nieśmiałości i robi to znakomicie. Autor pokazuje, że na nieśmiałość jest lekarstwo - przyjaźń i wsparcie. Wielkim atutem tej części jest atmosfera, wszechobecna magia i znakomicie narysowany NAWIEDZONY DOM naszej NIEŚMIAŁEJ ZJAWY.
Ładnie wydany komiks. Wydruk na eleganckim papierze. Piękne kolory. Przyjemny format. Nic tylko czytać! Bardzo polecam - mądre i zabawne... a nawet trochę wzruszające... bo szlachetne.

“Bumble & Snug and the Shy Ghost” is a comic book telling the story of two bugbops who are “the bestest of buddies”.
The art style is simple yet accomplished and is reminiscent of the Mr Men art style with the characters being different coloured shapes. I like the comic book format which makes this easy to read. The story sees Bumble and Snug go to see the Great Magnitico’s magic show where they inadvertently meet the shy ghost Luna. The three of them are so inspired by the show that they enter their own magic show into the Bugbopolis talent show as a trio. Luna has an amazing trick but “can’t do it – not when everyone is w-watching”. So, the story is about shyness really, and overcoming that.
The story is funny in places but probably pushes home it’s shyness message too much. But overall 4-stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bumble and Snug are amazing characters.
There was one particular moment when Bumble knew exactly what Snug needed and I just thought - aw, wouldn't we be lucky to have a friend like that.
These books are perfect for younger readers, but also appeal to older children as the characters are perfect and the writing is so clever.
Bumble and Snug are my go to birthday gift for other children!

Picked this up at Sainsburys for £4.50 (what a bargain!!). Loved it. Mark Bradley has done it again with a gorgeously fun story… this has lovely messages about being friendly and how we can deal with being anxious! This is done so brilliantly and it’s such fun too! The bright, bold illustration style (and how to guide at the back) brings me such joy!
