Nominated for the Pulitzer Prize Award (Drama)! “Traitor” is a courtroom drama and Western play, complete with gunfights, saloon brawls, freed slaves, drifters, shoot-outs, hangings, Native Americans, secrets, a Shakespeare-quoting hangman, a drunken Friar, inventions, history, modern science, bravery, love, insanity, justice, lawlessness, mortality, friendship and all in the backdrop of 19th century Old West and Old Northwest. My play has something for everyone including the elements of some films including “Twelve Angry Men,” “High Plains Drifter,” “To Kill A Mockingbird” and “Blazing Saddles.” It is very relevant to this area. It is a new play and it is finished. The goal is to inspire every dreamer to never give up on a dream and never betray.
