This was quite a good story, of the "Perfect Storm" variety. But I withhold one star because of the weird error about wind direction which is made throughout the book. Apparently the author really does think that a north wind blows toward the north, instead of from the north. Same for the other directions. So the reader has to keep mentally turning themself around 180 degrees. This tends to get annoying.
