The Holy Grail of mathematics is the 'Ultimate Equation'. It does not exist; it cannot exist.

The Nazis were close to cracking it when a lowly mathematician, Joseph Ulm, stole the key equation. As the war came to an end the Allies discovered the group's work. A covert deadly race developed between them to be the first to find Ulm and obtain the missing equation. To win the race would be to harness its power, and with it world domination. Losing was not an option.

Mark Wunn, a man with no known history, is a street fighter, a nasty piece of work, a thug. Watched over by his guardian angels, the Shadow Dancers, he's fighting a grubby little turf war. Peter Masham believes that Joseph Ulm passed on the equation to him.

Darren Pearson, a local newspaper reporter, his career is in stagnation, is contacted by a man calling himself Peter Masham and claiming to have the real story of Mark Wunn. But there are conditions attached.
Nobody who knows the truth is safe.
