Sarah Morand lives in Montana where she loves archery, collecting sarcastic t-shirts, and her obnoxious rat terrier, Ivan. She has an eclectic taste in books and her ideal house would be a Victorian library. Sarah started writing in middle school and after writing a plethora of short stories, finished her first novel by her senior year of high school.
The Battle of Mac’tire is well-named, and that battle at the end is suspenseful, exciting, and with twists and turns ‘til the very last page. It’s a much faster read than the first book in the series, and the tension among the main characters is really well done. I highly recommend this book!
It was a great action packed and relationship driven story, high stakes, betrayals, with each character learning how to trust God through it all. A scene that was set up in the first book and rewarded in this one had me yelling in excitement 😆
