There is a lot to this book. Not only the story of Florence’s struggle with depression and how she discovery pottery, but there is a lot to learn about creating with clay. There is a glossary of pottery words and many Flea Bites at the end the end of each chapter. The Flea Bites will direct you to many different sites to find examples of extraordinary pottery created by master potters.
A beautiful book explains about how the author overcame her PSD through pottery and how it is related our life. She talks about how like shaping of a pot, our pains, struggles form us into a beautiful being.
No idea why I picked this up except possibly how it looked plus curiosity. A mix of memoir and pottery tutorial it may have got a higher rating from me if I had been looking to try pottery but I wasn't inspired to do so by this.
