Odder Space

Odder Space is a humorous upper middle grade sci-fi novel with awe-inspiring spaceships, belligerent aliens, phlazer battles, pseudoscientific gobbledygook, and an artificial intelligence with a serious morale problem... but also spunk, heart, and some important life lessons. Mostly it’s just a lot of fun.

I read this to my 8yo and we both really enjoyed it. It’s funny and clever and sweet and sensitive and thoughtful. There are some good lessons woven in seamlessly, but mostly it’s just a funny, exciting space adventure.
