Aether: Book of Maya, Part One
This isn’t a story about a false king. Or a continent at war. This isn’t even a story about magic, although it probably should be.
What this is, is a story about a girl. A girl who has dreamed her whole life and finally has been given a chance to stop dreaming.
What this isn’t is a story of the Hood of Aet, those who have sworn an oath to protect the continent and aren’t doing the best job of it.
But Maya’s dreams of joining the Hood of Aet is part of this story so I guess we should start there, or maybe a little bit before.
