Third book and last book in the series, I wonder why the author stopped here. Seems pretty abrupt, like there's no finish to the series. You'll see that once you've read them all 3.

Liberty Porter is set to take her first overseas trip to....... Georgia, the country, not the state (in the US) with her parents. Her father is the new president of the United States. She is very excited because even though she's visited most if not all the states in the US, she's never been overseas. She's also nervous because she is known to blunder and make mistakes embarrassing herself and her parents. Luckily her best friend, James, who happens to be the son of the Chief of Protocol will also be joining them. The pair are super excited about riding on the Air Force One for the first time and visiting a new country.

Out of the 3, I liked it the least.

Liberty Porter's dad is the President of the United States of America, and for the first time ever she is going to get to travel overseas with him. Liberty can't wait to represent the kids of America in a different country, but first she has to learn etiquette and how to be polite. Then she and her friend James get to practice what they were taught as they meet new friends and experience a new culture. Liberty has lots of fun on her travels, learning that you don't have to be perfect to be diplomatic and that the most important thing is being nice.

This cleverly written and inspiring chapter book has cute black and white illustrations printed evenly throughout, making it perfect for readers from about third to sixth grade. With lots of great themes, this book is a fun way to get kids excited about manners. It also teaches young children the importance of being friends. As Liberty learns how to be confident even when she is afraid and makes mistakes and sees the strength in being united across country borders, readers will also learn important lessons. The text is written in the voice of a young girl, making it entertaining and easy to read. The plot flows smoothly and will keep the reader interested until the end. Liberty has good sense of humor and all the characters in the book are well developed.

Liberty Porter First Daughter Cleared for Takeoff is the name of the book I read. Liberty is the main character on the book she is daughter president of United States. She had to move to the white house with her family while her dad is a president. At the beginning she didn't like the idea of living the white house because she is not use to it and she can't go on vacations when she wants to and can't go to a public school she doesn't have friends who can visit her at the white house. But at the end she loved the idea of being daughter of the president because she can go to another country by airplane. The airplane have rooms and she had her own room, her parents have their own room and the president have his office on the plane. She is happy because she can meet people from another country. Sam is liberty best friend he Is best friend of liberty sometimes he can go with her if his parents let him and if liberty parents let him. Liberty had a dog his name is Franklin, he is not happy living in the white house because he can't go outside and play he always have to be on liberty room. Liberty mother and father are always busy they can really be with her all the time. Nino is a new friend of liberty, they meet when Liberty when to Georgia, Nino had invited Liberty and her family to go to her house and have a dinner. Mr. Santo is a man who talked to Nino in Skype, They talked via Skype because Nino wanted to talk to another person that was from America. My favorite character in the book was Liberty because in someway she had a connection to me, and when I was reading the book it remind me of my life. I liked this book, because when I read it for me it was easy to understand it and while I was reading I was image everything on my mind I really enjoy this book.

In this third book, Liberty Porter is set to take her first overseas trip, & she's both very excited & kind of nervous - what if she does something to embarrass her parents or her country? Luckily, her best friend (& son of the Chief of Protocol) James is going along to help. Liberty has a fantastic time exploring Air Force One, & winds up having a great (if not quite perfect) visit to the country of Georgia. I liked that Liberty's destination was not an immediately obvious one, & the portrayal felt very accurate - possibly because Julia DeVillers was living in Georgia with her diplomat husband while writing it. A good series for early readers.
