Gary Paulsen is a great author and his books inspire me to make and do awesome things the Gary Paulsen books I have read are cool and adventerous and all im saying that Gary Paulsen is just super insporeing and I just LOVE Gary Paulsen's BOOK'S
my second world of adventure book series for (Gary Paulsen) and all i can say that i really liked this one! The side characters were definitely marginal because the story is short and focuses on the main character only, and I can say that I liked the character development at the end of the book i liked the atmosphere too the action packed with bear the dangerous moment when it stalk and attack and i also felt the danger for the main character But I would have preferred if he was a little older. i enjoyed the book and i felt emotional at the ending.
This book is amazing it will blow your mind. The genre of the book is adventure.I think that this book might not looke good but it will make you read more. The setting of the book is at the woods far away from where he lives.
One night justin was sleeping and has a dog called old molly.Radar is also a justins pet dog.He heard something and grabbed a rifle from the fireplace. He went outside and looked around.when he went to sheep the gate was ripped off and tossed aside.when he went in he found dead lambs everywhere.Justin found tracks that were large and saw that it was a grizzly.
The next day there was a man and wanted the grizzly dead. So Justin went to go kill it in the wood with the rifle.Justin was in the woods and saw movements but then went still and shoot but the bear outsmarted him and was embarrassed but alive. He went up the mountain to see where he was and found something down there and went down to see.Justin found a pile of logs and all of them fell on top of him and couldnt move.Did justin get killed by the grizzly of did he get out and killed him.
I think this is such a amazing book because i could understand where the story was going. I also think that this book will make you read another chapter and another.I also think that this book will blow your mind when you read it . Finally i think that this book will make you read it all over again.
I would rate this book 5 out of 5 because it is such a amazing book to read.I would recommend this book to people who like adventure books like this one and other adventure books. This is whymthis book i rated 5 out 5 five a amazing book.
Title: World Of Adventure (Grizzly) Author: Gary Paulsen Summary: Justin McCallister lives in Montana on his aunt and uncle's sheep ranch. One night, a grizzly attacked the sheep ranch, injuring Justin's collie, Radar (which is Justin's dog), and killing his lamb, Blue. Justin decides to go after the grizzly, and kill it. He goes through a lot of struggles trying to kill the grizzly. Analyzation: I thought the book was interesting, but weird. It was kind of mysterious in a way. In the end, when Justin was severely injured and he was sure that the grizzly was dead, the grizzly went missing. That's when I thought the book was mysterious. Recommendation: I recommend this book to people 9 and older since it's not really a tough read, but it is interesting. I also recommend this book to people who like aventure and mystery, since there a bit of both in this book. If you meet my recommendation, I am sure you will like this interesting book.
Justin lives with his aunt and uncle on their sheep ranch near Billings Montana. It’s an idyllic setting, though hard work, but he loves the life. Now a rogue grizzly bear is terrorizing the ranches in the area. The bear has already killed several sheep and seriously wounded the ranch’s guard dog, Old Molly. Justin’s aunt and uncle go to Billings to meet with a wildlife ranger, and Justin is left to watch over the ranch. When the bear strikes again, Justin feels compelled to go after it.
This is a pretty good adventure book, part of Paulsen’s “World of Adventure” series. My nephew (age 13) has been a fan of Paulsen for a few years now. The book has a fairly straightforward plot, but there are some twists and turns. It’s exciting and scary, and I can definitely see the appeal.
This book was a short book, but it packed a lot in it. A boy who lived in alaska had a sheep that he prized and loved and one day a grizzly bear came and killed it along with all of the other animals. Enraged the boy took a rifle and went out to kill the bear and it turns into a battle between him and the bear. I think any one who enjoys hunting would really enjoy this book I know I did a lot.
Not an especially thrilling story according to Sean. At least the bear survived. Probably good for young 'uns to read for themselves as the language is simple and the plot easy to follow. This edition claims 80 pages, the one I read to Sean had 52, but is not listed at Goodreads.
This was an older book by Gary Paulsen that I thought my boys would like. It was hard to track down, but worth it. It was a good reading level for lower readers, and had an adventurous storyline that appeals to boys.
At barely more than fifty pages this was a very short read. I also thought that the reading level was easier than the 5.5 indicated on the back. It was an axciting story but there was minimal character development. Aould be great for a student who needs a book that quickly gets to the action.
This is what I hate about kindle, you don't get an understanding of a book's length. I knew this would be a kid's story, but I thought a full length novel. It was a long short story. Other than that, I enjoyed it. Exciting story full of action and I loved the Montana scenery.
