Mosaic is an Albino with Waardenburg and can feel her own brain in extreme detail. This includes the brainwaves, the blood flow, the veins and even the ventricles. This comes at a cost when she flexes her left ventricle leading to brain damage on one side but a dominant right brain on the other. She ends up on a hospital ward where there are dead wasps trapped in the windows. She worries when a colony of wasps enters the building for their safety. She uses her open third eye to guide a wasp out of a window. But then the wasp being that they are mind control creatures, ends up with a copy of her consciousness and tries to take over Britain.
