Poetry is so personal and so particular and with that said, my all-time favorite approach to poetry is “space metaphors,” basically, and nobody hits my heart just right like Sharon Bryan’s collections.
These poems “know” the way I travel, the way I regret things in life, the way I’ll both never be satisfied with anything but am also profoundly excited to live anyway. A great collection of some hope, some regret, some solemness.
