Neither original nor very well written. Most of what's here is pretty much the stuff of a good Oprah magazine article. But as someone who needs to work on actively healing, it was good to have all the advice here in one place. Reading the book is like bapping yourself over the head with common sense, drumming it in so that you have no choice but to listen and heed.

Balance would have made this book even better. This is a good starting point for anyone embarking upon a healing journey, but further research may be required depending upon the circumstances.
