I got as far as page 36, where someone told an anecdote about trying repeatedly to get through on the phone to buy postseason tickets when the Mets made the playoffs … in *1989*.

If you’re putting together a book of Mets fan stories and you can’t proofread THAT, your book isn’t worth reading.

Uneven collection of anecdotes from a bunch of different Mets fans. A few are insightful but most are a bore.
