About the author

Growing up in central Florida created a love for the outdoors that continues today. Her and her family often find themselves hiking or out on the water. When they are not she has a love reading and of course writing. She now resides in central Georgia, with her husband and two children. Melissa pursued a degree in Elementary Education and now works as a para to allow her to spend the majority of her time with her children.
