Gnomes: Origin of the Species

Rate this book
In a hidden valley in the Alps, gnomes live peacefully tending their vegetable patches as they have done for centuries. In the next valley live the elves, who come through tunnels to disrupt Gnomeland as much as possible. When young gnomes are scared they turn solid, and the elves found a way to kidnap the young gnomes and trade them with humans.
This story is about a family whose youngest son has been kidnapped by the elves. They embark on a perilous journey to rescue him, venturing farther than any gnomes have gone before. The elves do everything in their power to prevent the rescue and protect their trade with the humans, which to the Duke and Duchess of Pointstick, is of the utmost importance.
