کتاب Le grand vizir de la nuitx که در ایران توسط خانم «میترا معصومی» به (وزیر اعظم، سرگذشت جعفر برمکی) ترجمه شده، هم نثر زیبایی از سمت نویسنده و‌ هم ترجمه‌ی شیوای خانم معصومی را در بردارد. سرگذشت چنین افرادی در تاریخ به آسانی قابل ردیابی نیست، چه رسد بدانکه بخواهیم به‌صورت داستانی گیرا از سرنوشتشان باخبر شویم. این کتاب برنده جایزه فمینا در فرانسه شده است.

Une histoire d’amour et de pouvoir racontée en 10 épisodes dans le style des mille et une nuits. Un peu difficile de rentrer dans l’histoire au début mais ensuite c’est prenant, et c’est bien écrit.
