I really am in love with this series and the main characters. I wish that they had to deal with less and got to enjoy more but ultimately, as a series, it's what to be expected and I certainly look forward to getting to the end and (hopefully) reading about their happily ever after.

since the last novel in the series quite a lot has been piled up on top of what Seffy is already going through. Time travel being the biggest. And there she picks up even more threats and danger. It's a wonder how this girl is still sane, yet entirely understandable that she's beginning to question whether or not she is.

You can't help but sympathize with Seffy and even Trent who definitely continues to grow on you in a big way in this installment.

I really do love Trent as a character. He's so selfless and when it comes to what he wants he's up front about it and in the end he lets Seffy be the one to make the call. He's a gentleman when it all comes down to it and he really makes you wonder how Seffy isn't seeing it. However, like I said, she's been through a lot...so I forgive her. ;) For now.

I don't want to get into too much detail for those of you who haven't read the first two books in the series and for those of you who have, you'll be caught right up to speed with this one, so there's no need for me to refresh you. All I can say is that you've just gotta keep reading this series once you start it. And that's coming from someone who originally wondered if this series would be up her alley.

I loved Bella Street's first novel Kiss Me, I'm Irish and after reading the blurb for the first book in the Apocalypse Babes series, The Z Word, I wasn't so sure that I'd be into this different take on the whole zombie thing. Especially since I'm not a big zombie/apocalypse fan as it is. Well, I was wrong. And I'm glad I found that out by reading the books instead of just going with my initial thoughts because this series is awesome and you should read it. ;)

In book three of Apocalypse Babes, Seffy and the Scooby gang have discovered a way back to their time. They think. But there's a price. Seffy must volunteer to be the resident guinea pig and go first. What starts out as a 15 minute tour, ends up being a forty-eight hour assignment as the powers running their Montana sanctuary/prison demand Seffy help save their leader.
A last minute change finds Seffy in LA, just not her LA. Not one to waste her good fortune, she gets a new track suit and a hair cut but things quickly go bad. Fortunately, Trent is there to help. Soon bad guys are hunting Seffy and shooting at the couple. Worse, they've targeted the alternative universe's Scooby Gang for extermination.
Can Seffy and Trent complete their mission, save Seffy's friends and return to the Montana bunker?
Irobotronic is the best in the series so far. The pace never lags, action abounds and there's more plot twists as we wade deeper into the conspiracy surrounding the Montana bunker and the impetus for the initial time travel and zombie outbreak. I was delighted to see that Seffy is finally facing her problems head on and is no longer acting the victim. The confrontation with Gareth is long overdue as is the one with Fiona and Fenn. We also learn more of Trent's shady past making his actions all the more heroic.
The series just keeps getting better!

I feel like my relationship to this series is like that of Seffy and Trent, the two principle characters in IRobotronic. Seffy has a hard time seeing herself being attracted to and hanging with Trent. I am not usually attracted to this kind of book, which while having a decent share of action also has a healthy dose of romance and angst. The thing is, the action parts are good and the mystery of why the "apocalypse babes " got transported back in time is very interesting. Part three is no different. Seffy seems to be the "hub " and key to whatever is happening. And what is up with her blood? Is she really the "contaminate?" Who knows more than they are telling at the compound? Was it really an accident that they got pulled from their own time and place back to 1980's Montana? Ahhhh! The plot thickens further as one step is taken to get them all "back to the future " but there are setbacks and oh yeah, a hit squad would rather see them all dead. I can't quit till all the questions are answered, so on to part four. Oh, and be on the lookout for "Easter eggs ",subtle pop culture references sprinkled throughout. I was thrilled when I found the Donnie Darko one!

This series is one I definitely would not have read if it hadn't been a an editing gig. I'm just not into zombies, werewolves, biological & chemical warfare, et al. This entire series took me out of my comfort zone, and I really have to admit I learned a lot. The series is about the loss of innocence . . . and the horrible damage that can do to human beings.

These books have content that I wouldn't recommend for youth . . . and many adults I know. The writing is good--you really get swept up into the story, and what happens. But there are shocking, scary, and gory things that happen. (As well as some love scenes that I skipped--she knew I wasn't editing that. ;o) So, if you're not into nightmarish and crazy stuff, I'd say stay away from this set.

The uber-adult content is why it gets three stars. The writing itself, the quality of the prose and the story construction, definitely gets 4.5 stars. Bella does a bang-up job of taking you inside the minds of her characters, and of sewing up loose ends so when you're done, it's all worth it.

LOVED IT!!! I cannot wait to start the next one! They just keep getting better and better.

Seffy made it back to LA in her time, 2006, but something isn't right. Her house is occupied by strangers, people don't recognize her, and weird men are hunting her down. Her friends are still acting a little different and she begins to feel some connection to Trent.

Another chapter is unfolded as the story continues.
As Eugene and Gareth figured out a way to send someone into the future
will it work? iRobotronic is still keeping the story alive, and readers
will be anticipating for more. A lovely series to read.
