Take a detailed look at the fascinating world of robots--from the earliest single-task machines to the advanced intelligence of robots with feelings. Young readers will be amazed to learn all that robots can do: perform delicate surgical operations, clean city sewers, work as museum tour guides, or even battle each other in combat. Find out all about how humans have created these mechanical minds and bodies.
I love these eyewitness books. I know they are written for a younger audience but its just so cool to be able to see some of the history things I read about so much more clearly. Amazing pictures and I always learn something new. Highly recommended
Whether you are looking for travel guides or books about science topics, DK has the very best books, hands down. They present difficult subject in such a way that even young people can grasp the basics and are not only entertained but engrossed by it. DK also understands that time honored adage that "A picture is worth a thousand words" and they make certain that their text is liberally accompanied by the most beautiful pictures that you can imagine. All in all, any DK book that I have ever purchased, and I have obtained over 45, has been a true pleasure and never a disappointment.
The book"Robot" by Rodger Bridgman is a book about how the best engineer and scientist makes a lot of robots. The robots are like babysitters, spiders, robots that can save life's, and ect. The reason why I chose this book is because I always wanted to learn how people make robots. I recommend this book to people who like robots and to people who wants to learn how to build one.
Great book, highly recommend this because it shows you the amount of work that has been put into making robots. Most people would say robots are cool but if you understand the working of a robot you could appreciate them even more. If you like nonfiction this is a must read.
