Tadashi Agi, 亜樹直, is the penname of Yuko and Shin Kibayashi, a sister and brother team of Japanese manga storywriters. Shin Kibayashi also uses the pseudonyms Seimaru Amagi and Yuya Aoki.

v. 17 picks up where 16 ended. Shizuku and Issei each puzzle over the clues to The Fifth Apostle and separately conclude that they need to climb the Matterhorn. Both men end up on the same flight to Switzerland, although Issei is in first class, while Shizuku is in economy and their paths do not cross. Shizuku impresses the flight attendant with his analysis of the airline's wine selections and she joins him for his quest.

After a frustrating search for a guide, Shizuku bonds with Andreas Staiden over wine and he agrees to take him up the mountain but the weather is not optimal and they opt to take a less problematic path.

Issei has hired a helicopter to take him partly up the mountain believing that the wine is connected to the "demon" at the top of the mountain.

Issei has a near death experience and is hospitalized with altitude sickness.

Returning to Japan, every one meets for the Fifth Apostle competition.

Shizuku liked this Swiss wine while on a train ride en route to the Matterhorn to search for the 5th Apostle. Minerally w/ dry, tiny bubbles & grapefruit peel aroma.

5th Apostle: however exalted my ideas, & however exaggerated my expectations, I won't come away fr this wine disappointed =>the Matterhorn (demon mountain)

Shizuku was given this NZ Riesling in a blind tasting & the mountaineer Andy Stalden offered to be his guide if he correctly ID its country of origin. Given its lack of minerality & hence approachable drink, Shizuku correctly guessed that this riesling wasn't fr EU
Mountaineer Andy Stalden shared this 2005 Egon Muller Kabinett, a top producer of Rieslings, w/ Shizuku when he revealed he was the son of Yutaka Kanzaki.

Wine tt's nothing but gentle are not memorable but when a difficult to approach wine is finally in full bloom tt's an unforgettable moment.

Af conquering the summit of Matterhorn, Andy rewards Shizuku w/ an unforgettable wine. Harsh & and burly, but the scale is incredible =>5th Apostle. Andy's rival who perished attempting the Himalayas used to drink this af big climbs.
