Harmony Always Returns: The Story of My Life (So Far) Including My Colorful Escape from Toxic Family Dynamics

Rate this book
The author has been a successful entrepreneurial musician for nearly 30 years.
By telling his back story which includes being the scapegoat of his narcissistic
father and older brother (only sibling) one can come to appreciate his fortitude
in forging his own path, despite the lack of support from them - and his journey
of entrepreneurship begins shortly after his empathic mother's untimely passing
a few years after he graduated college.

While his relationships with his brother and his father were always strained and seemingly
empty and just "off" - Scott begins to awaken much more fully to their unending pattern
of emotional abuse when his wife who had also been his business partner for 20 years
dies suddenly and without warning in August of 2017 and he is appalled by their unseemly responses and
interactions as he struggled to find his way to the next chapter of his life.

Possessed with strength, courage, a greater understanding of narcissism and its role in the abuse he had endured as well as a good sense of humor - Scott manages to make an abrupt and rather colorful escape from toxic
family dynamics in a way that his father and brother as well as his readers will never forget.
