I already feel smarter than most of the politicians and governement officials after re-educating myself on these patriotic documents. The analysis and bavkground information on each is well researched and presented well. I really enjoyed revisiting and re-reading important documents of the United States.
Glad my library had this. Recommended.
A book to have if you are a United State history buff.
I’ve never read some of these famous documents and speeches featured in this book. They’re were interesting to read and some of the older ones are still very important today.
To say that the book is about the constitution is a bit of a stretch. It’s about 15 pages of a 530 page book. I also wish the author would have discussed some Of the early founding documents in more detail. He didn’t do much writing in this book.
