Story within a story - reminds me of The Thirteenth Tale. But wait, there's a scene with a psychiatrist who just quit his practise and told all his clients what he really thought of them. Very similar to a live action short film nominated for academy award - "OurTime Is Up" by Rob Pearlstein. Gotta see it. http://www.ourtimeisup.com
