What a joy to read and look at a book that was published before all the bloggers who self-appointed themselves as home decor experts. This is a book showing classic design principles and professional photographs. HGTV has deluded so many people into thinking they have good taste and design skills. When I see a book from a long-established publishing house, my hopes are higher than all the pop-up design books from bloggers, YouTubers, and TikTokers.

As with many of these small space books, those who own rather than rent will be able to do more. However, it contains great ideas and basic design principles that can still help renters.

Goodreads is being glitchy on me today. I finished reading this on May 25, 2024.
