CORE is a hybrid it blends traditional roleplaying game concepts with narrativist techniques to create unpredictable character-driven stories, like those seen in popular media. The system offers lots of player agency and just a tiny amount of crunch. It's built for speed, flexibility, low prep, and high bleed. Players will create their own PCs (Player Characters) to portray. These characters may be highly detailed, or generic and open for development. Over the course of play the actions of those characters will result in a story , all taking place in a fictional setting run by the GM (GameMaster). The GM fills the setting with NPCs (Non-Player Characters) and suggestive details, and nobody knows how the story will end!
