As an autistic educator, I found this book to be practical and a fantastic introduction to strategies for gen Ed teachers.
I wish it went into more detail about why ABA continues to not be a great solution as well as clarifying that the impetus is not necessarily to make autistic folks ‘more neurotypical’. Also missing was the discussion about the many co-occurring conditions such as ID, Apraxia, etc
I would definitely recommend this for both SpEd and GE teachers.
