John Tolland wrote this educative and wonderful book. Adolf Hitler was born 20th of April 1889 in Germany. Reading this book the reader learned many facts about the great dictator of Germany. One example of a very interesting fact was that Adolf Hitler was from Austria and his parents got to Germany before Hitler was born. So that is why Hitler was a German and not an Ostrich. An other very interesting fact of about Hitler was that he did not like Jews just for one reason. The only reason was that he loved art and drawing. He started drawing in his village in Germany. One day there was an art contest in his village in Germany. However the teacher who was Jewish did not accept Hitler and threw his work in the garbage. Hitler went back home angry and sad. An other interesting fact was that he created stations to kill the Jewish almost everywhere in the world. Hitler killed millions of people in his life. He was known for being an anti Jewish person and being the leader of Germany during World War 2. An other very unknown fact about Hitler that shocked the reader during the book was that the painter who didn’t accept Hitler was killed couple of years after by Hitler’s army. So as one can see this book thought the reader many different and interesting facts about Hitler.

There are many different interesting questions to ask about Adolf Hitler. One question is why is this book a biography? Well the answer to this question is simply that it talks about a life of a famous person. An other interesting question about this infamous person is what did this person do to change people’s life? Well the answer to this question is that Hitler killed millions of Jews and people. So that is how Hitler changed people’s life. Finally the last question is do you think this person is a hero? I think that he is not a hero for many reasons. I think that he is a criminal and a cruel person. So as one can see, I think that Hitler is a criminal and a useless person in life.

I would recommend this book to many different people. First, I would recommend it to people who love history (social studies) owing to the fact that it talks of someone who changed Europe. Second, I would recommend this book to high lower school level and middle school level due to the fact that the lexile is a little high and it is not for basic lower school level. Finally I would recommend this book to people who are from Germany or people who are interested in Germany because many things there where made by Hitler. You would like to read this book if you want to learn about a big part of Germany’s history. So as one can see if you are one of the recommendations I think you might like this book.
