Good read
Loved this trilogy, its one hell of a rollercoaster, but I must admit I did guess who it was in the first book, I just didn't like him, can not wait for the next book. I love the Elite Eight and the hot bodyguard. You will cry laugh out loud and want to slap some of the characters, but it's good and well written.

Phenomenal!! This series was filled with excitement and angst! It was like a big puzzle, trying to figure out who and why! Michelle B. Has truly outdone herself! Incredible journey filled with love and excitement!!

Breathing on my Own
Heart Series Book Three
Book three of the heart series could not hit my kindle fast enough.
This story is one Series I ended up becoming very fond of.
Being a book blogger I find it challenging to find stories that I feel like I haven’t read it a 1000 times before.
From book one to her latest installment, Michelle has carried through with her routine of surprising me.
I’d also like to rave about this author and the format of her stories. We all become accustomed to the start of a book giving of details, our fact finding mission, if you will.
Around half way through something climatic normally happens and and then it takes the rest of the book to put everything back together. Near the end we get out happily ever after or what the author has left of our heart.
Michelle goes completely off grid in book three. Around the 60 % mark, you are starting to enjoy what you think the end of the book should be and then she sort of plows you over with so much more of story you feel a bit of whiplash.
Sofia and Caelan have a love story that is so beautiful and true you find yourself begging for more.
Book three was a bit of a slow start for me. There were multiple times I felt a bit lost as to who was talking at the beginning of the book. Sofia is struggling to wake up from a coma and looking back on it now, all of those things discussed may have been confusing at the time, played a role in helping me piece things as the story developed.
I feel like the author found the writing groove mid way and the story really just blew me away. So many times throughout this book I thought there couldn’t possibly be more and there always was.
It was well written and a story that is truly different from the rest. Hope you all take a chance on Michelle B and fall in love with The Heart Series. Defiantly worth the read.

Whoa, this book is my favorite out of the series. I loved all of it, but this one took the cake!!!! Holy cowballs. Caelan and Sophia are so perfect for each other. I wish I had someone who loved me as much as C loves Sophia. She is his world when they finally admitted their feelings to each other, and its like nothing stopped them from showing it to anyone and everyone. This book was intense. It really kept me on my toes. When I found out who was behind all the crap, I was like WWWWHATTTTT??!!!! I am not saying anymore. Add this to your TBR. Its definitely worth it!!!! I loved it!

This was a fantastic conclusion to Caelan and Sofia's story and had the reader experiencing every emotion known to man. The relationships between the friends are real and heart warming, the story is gripping and has you coming up with all kinds of theories and the ending? Well, what can I say? Other than I did not see that coming!
I've thoroughly enjoyed seeing Michelle's writing grow during this series from debut to her third book in such a short space of time. She has done a fantastic job and I am excited to see what happens next in the journey of the Elite Eight.

A Breath of Fresh Air...
This story is so nice and beautiful. I Love how it ended and how we get all the closer.
Breathing On My Own is the third book in the series and the conclusions of Calen and Sofia story. I've been in love with these two characters from the beginning. This is a dark romance tale about how you can't trust the people around you. How you can think love ones is perfect and how you realize that your life is a big puzzle piece of a mystery.
I love this series. I love the characters and their bond with each other. I love how this book show that "Family" is not always blood. And how they would go to the ends of the earth for one another.

A thrilling conclusion to an amazing world author Michelle B. has created. A world I didn't want to leave. I love this book along with the entire freaking series. Every single book is SO well written they have completely blown me away and left me with a severe case of book hangover. I am impressed by the author's character development and dialog and she stayed true to it till the very last page. I can't wait for more books from her.

In this book Sofia truly stands on her own, Caelan has always been the one to help her through her anxiety and who is her touchstone, but in this book Sofia finds that inner strength to help her combat her biggest challenge yet. I have loved every book in this series but I have to say that watching the growth in these characters has really been my favorite part. They all are changing who they are and the paths they are taking with each other. I can't wait for more of this series because it is fastly becoming one I will read again and again.

HOLY HELL! I really thought the first two books of Sofia & Caelan's story were intense, but Breathing On My Own is for all the marbles! This is Book 3 so you absolutely MUST READ Breathe With Me (Book 1) and Breathing Together (Book 2) FIRST AND FOREMOST! This has been a crazy emotionally intense journey with so many crazy twists leading up to the big reveal nearly brought me to my knees. Those twists are completely turned out, and just when I thought I knew, I didn't actually know anything, so only the f-bombs were on target. These two have gone through the fire, and it's taken a toll on them for sure while I was holding my breath. I don't want to say much more because of the absolute explosive perfection of it all & don't want to give anything away. So buckle the hell up, and hit those one click buttons as you won't be sorry! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Breathing on My Own by Michelle B. is book Three in the Heart Series. This continues the story of Caelan O’Reily and Sofia Rose Heart 'Beautiful', so you really need to read the previous books, 'Breathe With Me' and 'Breathing Together' before starting this one. This book although doesn't end the series does give us the settlement of Sofia and Caelan. We read with this one them totally coming together as more than friends which is what was started in the last books. In addition to their love being fully declared we get the answers to some of the questions and concerns we had. This book series continues into the next book called 'Where The Chips May Fall', but will start a new couple front focus on Jessica and Luke.

Pride
That is what I feel with this tumultuous conclusion. So much pride. Pride at how Caelen, who admittedly struggled at first, stepped into a role he wasn't sure would be his. Pride at Sophia becoming so very strong, vibrant, and overcoming her demons. Pride at a father who finally admitted his shortcomings and made the decision to do whatever he needed to repair his broken relationship. Pride at the growth amongst these characters - at their unwavering and unyielding loyalty and love for each other. But, while the story of Caelen and Sophia may be over their journey and the journey of this family of blood and bonds is far from over and I cannot wait to dive into the next book.

I am fighting myself on this review with not knowing how to put my thoughts into words. I honestly have so many thoughts and emotions absolutely warring inside my mind and I have no idea what to say. I truly loved this book and the intensity that was literally on every page. My heart was in my stomach so many times all because of everything that happens. One moment there is happiness and the next complete heartbreak. Sometimes, I didn’t see any way back from the words that were uttered. How could they find their way back after so much pain?
These characters became family to me from book 1 and I sincerely wish they were real and not fictional. I loved each of them and their vivacious and spirited love for one another and life in general. There was never a dull moment among them but there was real, genuine love
BREATHING ON MY OWN is a beautifully told story that broke me, healed me, and completely owned me. I look forward to reading the other books in this series and getting to know these amazing people a little more and hearing their story. All the stars!

Ahhh, I finally got my hands back on my sexy as fuck Caelan and Sofia, one of my favorite couples ever!! Even after reading book 1 and 2, I still wanted more, and I definitely got it with book 3! I love this couple!! <3 This is the final book of their story, though it isn't the end of them completely or the series! There's still so much more to come for the Elite Eight and one hot bodyguard!! This group of friends/family are the best and I'm so looking forward to getting their stories too!!
As we've seen in the previous books, Caelan and Sofia have not had an easy road in life or in their relationship...way harder than most people could even imagine! But they are still major relationship goals for me!! Their chemistry, love, passion, and strong connection they share is beyond beautiful! But life isn't easy, nor is it always fair or predictable, and although they are together and more in love now than ever before, there's still someone out there doing everything in his power to rip them apart and take Sofia away! Plus, someone from Sofia's not-so-distant past pops up again and brings along another intense, drama-filled situation! The suspense and drama that ensues keeps you on the edge of your seat, trying to figure out who the stalker or stalkers are, trying to keep everyone safe while looking for answers, learning to love and trust completely and accept things that you don't want to because it hurts so badly, but you have to and you will for love, and always wondering what's going to happen next! Let me just tell you now...when everything unfolded and answers came out, I was shocked!! Even when I thought the surprises were over, BAM....hit with another one!! It was brilliant and exciting and emotional!! The strength and growth that we get to experience with Sofia as she learns to overcome all of the tragedies she's experienced is awe-inspiring, to say the least! There's so much I wanna say, but I don't wanna give anything away! Just know that this book/series is amazing and you have to read it!!!! From the extremely emotional beginning that had me crying in no time, to the laughs/tears/smiles/scowls/face-fanning and much more throughout every page, all the way to the very last paragraph of the book which was fucking epic!!! LOL I loved it all!!! It's crazy how this is still a new indie author, with this only being her third book to ever write, and yet it's this fan-fucking-tabulous!! Can't wait to keep reading more and more of these guys and this author's work!!

Someday, you’ll be Sofia Rose O’Reily, but you need to wake up so, I can ask you to me mine forever.” Talk about crying like a baby! Wake up Sofia! I need you to get up! I need you and Caelan to together FOREVER! I don’t think alive cried this much in the first 7 chapters of book. I cried happy and sad tears. I cried when I thought a certain someone was dead and then I cried when I found out he was alive. Holy effing shit when I found out who Sofia’s abductor was 😡. He was one of my guesses but that piece of shit. I’m glad Sofia was a strong woman and finished that piece of shit. Again another emotional roller coaster. I straight up cried at the end. I want a guy like Caelan in my life. I want someone who will be by my side NO MATTER WHAT! I’m happy the series isn’t over and we get to read about Jess and Luke. I’m sure their story will be just as steamy. 🔥

Breathing On My Own would have to be the shining star of the three books from the Heart Series so far. This book deserves far more than the five stars that I can rate it. The final instalment for Caelan and Sofia is one that will have you riding high on every emotion possible. Secrets will be revealed left right and centre, trust will need to be high and ultimately it will be about an all consuming love. This is a story that you will not be able to put down, it will consume you mentally and have you holding your breath as you await the outcome. The author deserves every praise possible to be able to evoke the emotions that she does from you as a reader as you devour the words that she has put down. You will ride the highs and lows with this couple and their friends as they move from the past to the present and look forward to the future. The only way to describe this book is that it is what love stories are all about, this is what we all wish for deep in our soul. Their story had me anxious beyond belief and sitting on the edge of my seat until the very end. If you are after a story that will hold you captive from start to finish, have you tingling from head to toe with the seriously hot and sexy scenes and totally falling in love with the characters then what are you waiting for, because one clicking is the only answer.

Caelan & Sofia’s story was everything. It was sweet, heartbreaking, emotional, & angsty. It was a very rough & bumpy road to their HEA. But everything they had gone through was worth it. Their love was like none other, they were true soulmates. Caelan was perfect. How much he loved Sofia was breathtaking & had my heart in a puddle.
Their story was fantastic. I loved the relationship between this group of friends. The friendship this group has made this book so much better. There’s absolutely nothing they wouldn’t do for each other & it shows. And even with all the dangers & threats, the humor in this book had me laughing hard. Especially at Sofia’s first doctors appointment and how possessive Caelan got and how Sage was getting him all worked up!
I really felt for Jonathan and I’m definitely wanting his story. I want to see this amazing man get his HEA. I also can’t wait to get to Chris’s story. He came off as the jokester in this story, & even though at times I wanted to punch him, I know there’s so much more to this man & I can’t wait to see it.

As I mentioned in my reviews for the two earlier books in the Heart series, I think there was too much repetition, etc. it was like they kept repeating things about their love and their story over and over again.
I liked the basic story, and I liked the lead couple, as well as all their friends (especially the hot bodyguard). But there's no way it required three books to tell their story. I had the main bad guy figured out in book one, and a good idea who was going to be that villian's daughter once that fact was made known to us.
And don't get me wrong, I like sexy/smutty books as much as the next person! But there was almost too much of that happening!! I found myself skimming some of those sections, as well as many other sections that were repetitive .... something I don't think I've ever done in books before.

Breathing on My Own is an absolute must read. I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars. I just finished reading it and I had to post my review right away to get all my emotions out! First of all the writing gets me everytime. This is now my 3 time reading a book by Michelle and she delivers every single time. I don’t remember ever crying so much while reading. This is the perfect conclusion so far and I’m just LOVING THIS ENDING!! I’m really blown away by this book and these characters! Caelan and Sofia just have this strong bond and chemistry that’s even more intense in this book then the first two. It felt like I was waiting for far to long to read this book and now that I have. It absolutely didn't disappoint! I can't wait to see what’s next for these characters❤️

WOW... at a loss of words. That book was everything I hoped for and more!!!! I read the book so quickly, while I was half way done, I realized I needed to slow down because I didn't want it to end! This book put me through every emotion...I was crying, laughing, getting angry, goosebumps... I do not think it could have ended in a better way, it put the biggest smile on my face. Everything came together in this book, it answered every question you had through the series and then some. My love for Caelan and Sophia is so strong and I loved that you got every view of their life together. This book really shows you what true love is, it shows the bad and the good! THIS IS A MUST READ!! You will not regret it, the only thing I regret is finishing the series SO QUICKLY!

HOLY HELL!! WOW!! COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY!!! Just when you thought this series couldn’t get any hotter!!! Book 1 got you thinking and feeling connected, book 2 had you in despair and in tears by the end, but book 3 I HAVE NO WORDS!!! Im not a speechless person but these characters and this series has your emotions in its grasp. Not only did the chemistry between Caelan and Sofia continue you see the rest of the elite eight have their own love lives & big oh boy you feel the heat!! Twist around every corner & just when you THOUGHT you knew everything BAM CHILLS!! This book doesn’t end til the last page, EVERYTHING COMES TOGETHER AND EVERY QUESTION ANSWERED!!

HOLY CROW! I’ve wanted this book since the minute I finished the second one; I could not get my paws on it quick enough. Just when I thought everything was going to be smooth sailing for Sofia and Caelan, Michelle throws a monkey wrench into it all and I absolutely loved it! There is no predicting what is going to happen next in any of her books, but especially this one. I felt like I was going through the events with Sofia and Caelan so much so that I got teary eyed, belly laughed and felt their pain. Michelle is officially my favorite author and I can’t wait to read more of her books. If you haven’t read it, I’m not sure what you’re waiting for.

I absolutely love this series! The first three books are Caelen and Sofia’s story and what a story they have to tell! Nothing is as it seems, there are twists and turns a plenty. How well do we really know people and who can we trust. Sofia is in a coma after being attacked in the bathroom of her fathers home. She has so many questions when she wakes up but is too afraid to ask them because she may not survive the answers. This is the work of someone who has the help of an insider or it’s someone who is very close to them. She decides she can’t sit back and watch any more innocent people get dragged into this! It’s time to put herself out there!

I could not wait to read Breathing on my own. Putting this book down was impossible. I read it in a few hours. Breathing on my own exceeded my expectations. The way that this book is written, you Can actually feel what the characters are going through. I laughed, got angry, and actually cried. You can tell the author put her heart and soul into this series. My only regret is that I finished reading the series. I can say whole heartedly that I will miss these characters. I can honestly say that Michelle B is now my favorite Author. I am looking forward to reading her future books.

So as per normal I read this series out of order, I read the bleeding heart books first but I enjoyed Sofia's story. I was on edge most of the time because my mind had ideas on who her stalker was but i needed to have confirmation i was right and was hoping every page i turned would give me that... I was RIGHT!! haha.. Would not wish her expereience on anyone but I can say that I would love to have the connection that she has with C for sure. Hot alpha male. There are many spicy scenes and her ability to stand and breathe on her own as she grows from the experiences and figures out who attacked her in her past. Must read

Michelle has done it again! “Breathing on My Own” will not disappoint. Just when I thought each question was answered and the book would wrap up.....BAM! There is so much more to keep you intrigued. The hot and steamy is intertwined nicely with romance and friendship. You will bite your nails, cry, and laugh until the very end. A must read!
