An absolutely hilarious martial arts webtoon, that both leans into and avoids clichés of the cultivator/regressor genre. The art is a notch above the others in this category, the characters are all well fleshed out, and the writing is extremely funny while also being surprisingly poetic when it needs to.

In Return of the Blossoming Blade vol 2 contains chapters 7-13 of the webcomic. Continuing the story of Cheongmyeong and the Mount Hua Sect.

It’s not drawing me in, but my boyfriend tells me it will get better (he was the one recommending this series) so I will continue to see what will happen.

i have genuinely no clue how these arcs have been made but I too wish I was able to join the Mount Hua Sect and do some intese martial arts and beat people up.

That would solve like (99+1)% of my problems.
