when i say this book was CRAZYYY i mean it and i loved it so much, after this i’m def going to read more urban romances because i was entertained the whole time. also i know this is technically two books but i’m writing the review as one because y why not.
demise got back from jail and killed his dad and became the head of the mob and started assembling his crew, but in order to be a made man you need to be married so this is basically the story of how all men found and married their wives.
first demise married his baby mom dasani and there relationship was very toxic but in the end it was looking up until they were attacked in the car and he lost his memory. then her started moving crazy, sleeping with other women, he shot at dasani, was talking crazier to her and their baby, it was wild, in the end he was in in knees apologizing (after he got his memory back) and she forgave him.
lorenzo got with his baby mom mocha, they had a rocky start to their relationship because he got her pregnant, the broke up, he supposedly got teasha pregnant (that was not his baby), and she was holding him down when he went to jail. also there was bad blood between mocha and teasha because they used to be step sisters i believe and teasha and her sisters used to cause havoc for mocha.
eventually mocha and lorenzo got back together and got married but mocha got exposed and she was saying it was teasha and lorenzo disagreed and she left him, turns out it was teasha and his is were he found out that teashas baby was not his and went back and apologized to mocha and they got back together.
last but not least matteo met scarlett at the store and basically just asked her to be his woman. she had a really bad home life, her mom was on drugs, she had a baby really young, and matteo really took her out the hood. now to say that he was super sweet because he wasn’t but they went well together, there was a point in time where she left to find out answers about his her dad did, but when she got back it really showed how much matteo cared about her, like awwww.
overall these two books were very good and very entertaining, loved them down.
