Love a cute lil urban fiction read with some mean, unhinged men. Thank God Demise found his mind cause he was pissing me off ! This was truly entertaining! The relationships , the characters, the plot twist everything was on point!

Nobody was safe in book 2. Most of the couples was beefin most of the book for one reason or another lol. Don was hella mean lol like damn I get it you lost your memory but he called Dasani all types of ugly. This was truly a way to show the difference between Demise and Don. I did enjoyed reading. The tea was hot. My favorite part of the series was Lorenzo putting Matteo up on brunch and bottomless mimosas lol.

Editing

Definitely need an editor or some arc readers, there were lots of grammatical errors. Denise and Dasani were so funny, I also loved Matteo and Scarlett, i hope we get to see more of them in upcoming releases!

You did that with this series it was everything from the beginning to the end. Don didn’t play any games when he got his memory back. I’m glad that Dasani didn’t leave though. Mocha got her lick back Teasha and her family. I can’t wait for the next book

Good read

Again this was a five star read but the amount of errors in the book made some parts hard to understand. Great story though

🔥❤😂

I don't even know where to begin. I love this family so much, but Ize is a pain in the arse. I love Danali. She knows how to stand up for herself. Scarlet didn't even realize how crazy her husband is. Lo needs his butt kicked. Learn quit that happy wife equals happy life. Mocha not playing no games with him and his supposed baby momma. I can't wait for Enzio and Has story!!!

when i say this book was CRAZYYY i mean it and i loved it so much, after this i’m def going to read more urban romances because i was entertained the whole time. also i know this is technically two books but i’m writing the review as one because y why not.

demise got back from jail and killed his dad and became the head of the mob and started assembling his crew, but in order to be a made man you need to be married so this is basically the story of how all men found and married their wives.

first demise married his baby mom dasani and there relationship was very toxic but in the end it was looking up until they were attacked in the car and he lost his memory. then her started moving crazy, sleeping with other women, he shot at dasani, was talking crazier to her and their baby, it was wild, in the end he was in in knees apologizing (after he got his memory back) and she forgave him.

lorenzo got with his baby mom mocha, they had a rocky start to their relationship because he got her pregnant, the broke up, he supposedly got teasha pregnant (that was not his baby), and she was holding him down when he went to jail. also there was bad blood between mocha and teasha because they used to be step sisters i believe and teasha and her sisters used to cause havoc for mocha.

eventually mocha and lorenzo got back together and got married but mocha got exposed and she was saying it was teasha and lorenzo disagreed and she left him, turns out it was teasha and his is were he found out that teashas baby was not his and went back and apologized to mocha and they got back together.

last but not least matteo met scarlett at the store and basically just asked her to be his woman. she had a really bad home life, her mom was on drugs, she had a baby really young, and matteo really took her out the hood. now to say that he was super sweet because he wasn’t but they went well together, there was a point in time where she left to find out answers about his her dad did, but when she got back it really showed how much matteo cared about her, like awwww.

overall these two books were very good and very entertaining, loved them down.

So much potential!

I got through the first book and was hoping the editing and development issues would’ve been resolved in book 2. Sadly, they were not… if anything the grammatical errors were far worse! It gave off “text to talk” vibes and made the book very hard to read.

The characters were actually a fun bunch, although a little bat sh*t crazy… but that’s what made them funny. I’d be sooooo interested to see what this author can do with an experienced editor on her team, because I’m utterly shocked that someone with this many published books has not invested in her craft by hiring an editor by now. This was only my second book by the author, and I would love to read more, but it’s very difficult getting into the flow of a book when you’re constantly having to stop and figure out what “should’ve” been written.

Best of luck to this author in her journey and really hoping that we can get some properly edited books from her.

Great Storyline, Typos almost ruined it

Love her books! I just hate that the simplest of words are not edited. Like enough is enough. “Sh*t the door” v “Shut the door” is out of pocket! Please get a real editor and read the book out loud before publishing. I promise it will make a world of difference. This is easily a 5-star read with the easiest of edits because the storyline is that good. And no, I’m not being the Grammar police. This is just basic. It takes away from the book. If the plot wasn’t so intriguing, I would’ve quit reading it, which I’ve done in the past with certain authors.

😂😂😂

Depending on what this glass dick sucker told me, I was definitely giving this muthafucka some crimson décor to go with the new couch I’d told Scarlett to purchase. “Where the fuck is lil gas station and Scarlett? If you lie, I’ll kill you. If you take too long to answer, I’ll kill you.” I wasn’t the best nigga when it came to interrogating muthafuckas. I didn’t have the patience for it nor did I have the fucking patience for it. I rather kill a muthafucka and ask questions later. “May I?” Crack mammy pulled a cigarette and lighter from her bra lit it and crossed her arms. She knew better than to blow that cancer stick in my face so she turned, revealing her immature ass ponytail that rested at the nape of her neck. “You think I’m afraid to fucking die?” I didn’t say shit because rather she was afraid or not, I’m the nigga that means what I say and say what the fuck I mean. “And who the fuck is little gas station?” She pulled from her cigarette again. When I got my ass in the shower back at the hospital, I wasn’t surprised to find Scarlett’s scary ass gone. I could tell she didn’t fuck with hospitals just by the way her ass had been tensed up like a dick was in her anus from the moment we walked through the doors the night of the Gala.

This series is really good even if Demise got on my nerves the whole time. Before I get into my review I will say that both books needed some editing TLC, especially towards the end. The book was good but it would have been great without the misplaced words.

Now, my least favorite main character was Demise. I know he lost his memory but he was acting worst than when he got out of jail forreal, he was just not a good dude to me. I was glad he turned it around in the end but he did so much that it was kinda hard to see him in a good light.

But, I loved me so Lorenzo because he was hilarious. His relationship with Teo was too funny! I actually kind of liked Matteo too even though I don't think I could be with a guy so guarded, I think he really did love Scarlett.

Overall, the series was really good and I would definitely recommend. I loved Jisei in these books so I am glad that she and Ezio's book is next.

Sidenote: I went the whole series calling the other mob the Cappuccino's because I know how to say their real name.

WOW

I truly couldn't put this book down. Lisa Austin, you definitely didn't come to play.
Dasani was not here for none of Don mess.
I hate that he lost his memory because he was most definitely doing too much. He got on my nerves. Now, Zo, you can't be that blind that you think Teasha is innocent. She most definitely did it. Now that you found out she wasn't innocent, you have a lot of sucking up to do to Moke. Teo is mean ,but he is caring.
I love Scarlett for him, and Princess has him wrapped around her fingers. I'm glad Scarlett was able to reunite Tamala with her family after she got cleaned. I love that all the mob wives get along. Big Zan and Azure play no games when it comes to Mocha. Don sister was closer than he knew. Can't wait to see how her story plays out .

The Saga Continues

This author definitely receives an "A" for creativity with the storyline and for the laugh out loud comedic relief...but unfortunately the disrespectful banter was much louder than all of that and the "I love yous" were too little to late for me. Even more unfortunate, I am completely locked in with this crazy mafia crew from Jagoda Bay now, so even with all the disrespect, I am heading over to Audible to see what Put It On The Mob is talking about. I do want to point out that editing was not good at all in this book. If I see "pint house" one more time for penthouse or "jael" for jail. Come on now. Those are elementary school words. Then, there were several sentences where whole words were missing, leaving the readers to figure it out. The lack of editing time and time again, really diminishes the author craft IN MY OPINION.

This book had me hooked!!

I deducted one star because Matteo and Demise almost made me want to DNF it. Their mouths were so disrespectful toward women.

Dasani was my favorite because she didn’t put up with Demise’s disrespectful @&$ mouth. However, I looked at her sideways when she was in the limo. She really feigned an apology after everything he put her through. Girl, please!! That pathetic @&$ speech he gave.

I wanted to shake Scarlett. Girl, stop apologizing to that ignorant man. Her mom was trifling. Forgiveness would be nonexistent.

Mocha and Lorenzo were the reasons I kept reading. I wanted to see how their story unfolded. Lorenzo was an airhead when it came to Teasha. That girl was downright ratchet.

The twist at the end has me hype to read the spinoff.

Rinaldi Mafia 🥰

Lisa ATE with this series. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The way each one was married was very clever. That Don though he was something else. I must say the whole hospital scene with him talking to and about an unconscious Dasani had me crying like I was at somebody’s funeral Chile. Zo and Teo brotherhood was so beautiful. Teo fought it as much as he could. I loved Scarlett for him, and Teo calling that baby lil Gas Station gave me life. 😂 Zan made Zo fight for Mocha and although I’m not sure he won 🤔 at least he got his family. Lol Those girls loved Jae wholeheartedly. It was so beautiful! Now all she needs is a MAN! 😉

Rinaldi Mafia....
This was an entertaining read, definetly not the norm.
Clever arranged marriages scenario. Made men meets their match.
Was totally invested in the couples and their struggles, crated by themselves.
Zo, by far was the most enrtaining, his interactions with Teo was a hoot!!
The women that they chose, more than held their own. Mocha had the support she needed to stand in her truth/worthiness with Zo. When Don went left< I almost shut it down, hating how he did Dasani, eventhough you knew it would it wasnt going to last, it still was rough to read.
Lisa showed up and showed out...can't wait for next read!!

🔥🔥🔥🔥

These women came in and took over doing things to earn leverage within the mafia that surprised their husbands and that's why they all went hard for each of them. Happy Moca whipped that little lying Jeff's a--, they treated her so awful while her father was gone but in the end she came out on top. The once enemy now rival family came to terms settled their grievances and joined forces. Was so happy when Don got his memory back because not sure how much longer Demise would have been able to take the disrespect but once he got his memory back he did his best to make things right again. Can't wait to see what happens next for these characters.

worthy of every star⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This conclusion was epic. The mob women continued to show up and show their worth🙌👏🏽 Demise got on my nerve for 70% of the book but I as sooooo0 glad he got his memory back. He and Dasani were just made for each other. Got to see the more human side of Teo. We all knew loved his wife but hearing it gave me all the feels. I always knew Teasha was trash 🗑️. How she exposed Mocha was horrible. Glad Zo finally put her in her place. Zo and Teo were hilarious 🤣🤣. Great story!!!

This book hit different and what happened to the Don came out of nowhere, but he was also out of control. Homeboy took his situation to another level!

It was hard connecting with these characters. I’m like how will they get to know each other when they not communicating at all, and barely in scenes together. So much toxicity.

I’m like when will they get their HEA LOL 😂, because the book was close to the end when these characters came to their senses.

I’m sure their lives will be explored more in the upcoming book.

I couldn’t believe Ize and all the bs he was doing but I’m so glad he got his life together for his family. That Mario was just jealous and a snake. I’m sooooo glad Zo finally opened his eyes to Teasha and really bosses up for his wife. Mocha had standards and I was here for it!!! Scarlett got on my nerves acting slow but Matteo made sure to fix all that. I couldn’t believe Jae was Ize sister ❤️. The Ronaldo Mafia had leveled up and I loved to see the growth. Can’t wait to read Jae story next with Ezio!!! Great job as always !!!

First just let me say this is definitely a great read!! I laughed so dang hard throughout this book!! I love me some Don but could not stand Ize. He was truly a FN. Bromance if Teo and Zo is hilarious. I can’t even tell you the best part of the book because every dang chapter was good. I love a good hood love with some toxic mess splattered throughout. Now Lisa it says the book is coming in 2023, so I’m hoping next month!

Great series!

Lisa Austin you did that! From the beginning to the end, this was definitely a page turning situation. The drama, the laughs, the mimosas, just had me waning to read more. Then that cliffhanger or that intro to that other book….. who knew? I really enjoyed this series. Don is a trip, Matteo🤦🏽‍♀️, and Zo is just slow 🤣🤣🤣. Fantastic job! Hopefully the wait is shorter for the next installment.

I'm ready for the spin-off!

These characters are so much fun! They're young people living life and finding themselves. I love how Dasani & Mocha play no games with the Don and Zo. Scarlett made me mad being so clueless at times, but she didn't know any better. Teasha got what I wanted her to get a fade! She earned them 👊🏾 her and her gremlin looking family. Teo is my favorite😂 he has no cares at all.

Mob life!!!

This series was funny as shi* but a good entertaining read. You couldn't take any of these characters serious especially The Don and his wife!!! The only characters than even attempted to seem realistic was Azure and big Zay. It had a little too many misspelled words but that didn't take away from the flow. It was good and when The Don opens his mouth each and every time I promise you'll laugh at his ignorance.

good effort

The author tried & I give her that! But this book is all over the place with absolutely no flow. Felt like she needed to write down her thoughts before getting it in a big. Or have someone else who won’t lie to you read your books before publishing. I would say anyone who start this book, stop don’t waste your money. If you do, then you will be unhappy with the flow. It’s a good story line but it just wasn’t told right! Author definitely not a storyteller
