This book has it all: romance, a fake relationship, a quaint small town setting at an inn, playful humor, drama, and faith. Kaelin Scott wrote a delightful romance with faith as a central theme. Faith is at the heart of the book. Characters grow closer to each other and to God. The book felt like Gilmore Girls and a Hallmark Channel movie—in the best way possible! Kaelin’s characters develop throughout the story and the book reminds readers that it’s never too late to begin a relationship with God.

When I say you need to read this book, I mean You. Need. To. Read. This. Book.

This is a fake dating story of redemption with romantic comedy flare with a tennis theme and faith elements, set at a Colorado resort...and well, it doesn't get any better than that. The humor is on point, the trope carried out to perfection, the characters unforgettable with endearing quirks, and the story is all-around heartwarming. I rank this book way up there with Faking Christmas by Cindy Steel, which was a favorite Christmas read for me!

I received an early copy from the author and all opinions are my own and voluntarily shared.

This was a sweet Christian romcom book! I loved the fake fiancé trope and felt like the author did a good job of peeling back the layers of the protagonists over the course of the book. If you like faith based romances with sweet endings you’ll love this book!

This book has it all - romance, hot topic issues that happen in real life, laughter, faith, loss, friendship... And to top it all off, it has tennis in it! I'm an avid tennis fan, so that was an extra bonus for me.

I read a LOT and kind of thought I'd read all the romance book plot lines out there, but this book took me by surprise. Author Kaelin Scott wrote a fresh, new plot line for a romance novel that I think will impress readers who are a looking for a romance novel but with a different story line.

It's a quick read with enough plot twists to keep you on your toes. It's a clean romance novel with great character depth and descriptive scenes. I highly recommend this book!

I did receive an advanced copy of this book, but my review is entirely my own.

Kaelin's books are always such sweet reads, and this one might be my new favorite so far! I loved watching the trope play out through the character interactions, and I enjoyed learning a little about tennis along the way. The faith element of this story drives the plot, enriches the characters, and is my favorite aspect of all of Kaelin's stories. Definitely add this to your TBR list!

"And yet, she'd sort of done it to herself. She very easily could have said no and let them find someone else to be their lackey. But she hadn't, and now her life was exponentially more complicated than it had been the day before. If her foot could reach, she would've kicked herself in the backside.
To Eliana's disappointment, the chaos didn't end when she was safe inside the lodge. In fact, the scene before her may have been more painful than the one outside. Staff members bombarded her with their own set of questions."

As a hotel manager, Eliana tries to accomodate her guests. But when a tennis pro puts her in the spot, she might have been pushed past her limits. While hanging out with Liam isn't exactly a hardship, this is not what she wanted in her life. Can she find a way to be a friend while still having boundaries?

I really enjoyed this book with the right amount of romance, friendship and faith. Trying to live with integrity can be hard if one is looking out for others. I liked the pacing and thought the storyline was believable. A really enjoyable read.

This is the first book that I read by this author, but it will not be my last!

This is a sweet tale of opposites attracted to one another. They have little in common but the dawning realization that no one lives in a vacuum. Choices have consequences that touch more than a single individual. Conversely, it never pays to get too big for your britches and believe that life rises and falls on your decisions. It was a very hopeful story read when the world outside my window was rather dreary.
