Confidence is a good thing… But complacency can be murder. Lottery winner and amateur sleuth, Tulia Blake crosses the state line into Wisconsin in her RV and hears a fairly alarming warning on a local radio station about a suspected serial killer.
While the news raises her eyebrows and curiosity a bit, she figures that chances are pretty low that she’ll encounter a killer during her brief visit to the land of cheese.
Her optimism wasn’t fully grounded in reality, as it turns out, and Tulia manages to catch the killer’s attention at her first stop in Wisconsin.
From that point forward, the hair on the back of her neck rises far too frequently, as Tulia becomes increasingly convinced that she’s being followed.
But is it a killer following her? Or is it someone with an entirely different agenda?
Pack your bags and hop in the RV with Tulia as she continues along on her sleuthing adventures!
When Cozy Mystery author, Patti Benning, isn’t busy plotting the deaths of multiple fictitious characters, she loves to spend time hiking with her rescue dog, Max, who is her bestest writing buddy.
Patti loves to cook and the food in her books has been tried and tested in her very own kitchen. She’s technologically shy, and stays away from social media a great deal, because it makes her feel more awkward and introverted than meeting someone face to face.
Writing is the perfect job for her because in her books, she gets to explore all the topics she loves, food, animals, crafts and reading. She loves her readers dearly, and is thankful for the opportunity to share with them through her work.
Entertaining cozy mystery short story. The protagonist has won the lottery, bought an RV, and is traveling the U.S. with her African Gray Parrot! Dead bodies turn up every state she stops at to camp! LOL! I’m enjoying traveling with her from my chair at home. I recommend!
I like the settings, but these books are so short that I almost don’t want to read anymore, but I bought three of them so there’s that… this one, I did not like as well as the first one it didn’t seem to flow….
Tulia is back at it again, but this time in Wisconsin! She hears that there’s a serial killer on the loose that is targeting single campers. She is alert and can’t trust anyone. This book was action packed and I literally zoomed through this. This is officially my favorite cozy series!
Another will written murder mystery family and friends relationships adventure thriller short story by Patti Benning (Rambling RV Cozy Mysteries book 2). Tulia leaves Michigan traveling to Wisconsin and a new camp ground. She makes friends with a family of four and enjoys super with them. The next morning they discover a man 🚹 murdered. Tulia leaves and finds a new camp ground. The murderer follows and is captured by private investigators. After spending several days sightseeing with the family Tulia leaves Wisconsin. I would recommend this series and author to readers of mystery novels 👍🔰. Enjoy the adventure of reading or listening to books 📚. 2022 👒😉
When Tulia entered Wisconsin, she sure had no idea she'd be helping nab a killer. She'd been a tiny bit worried about a serial killer supposedly hitting campgrounds, but I think she rationalized since it was another part of the state that she was safe where she was. Famous last words, right? But she had Cicero the parrot to keep her safe-and he did prove useful at that.
The showdown was pretty exciting and the suspense that built up to it was just right for a cozy mystery. It was a bit creepy in places, but it's the perfect type of creepiness for this type of mystery (and I actually prefer this lower-keyed creep factor).
Tulia got to meet some more new friends while in Wisconsin and finally got some closure about the SUV that'd been following her. Although her nutty ex presented her with a whole new issue, but I'm sure that'll be dealt with later on. Can't wait to borrow the next book when it's out!
In this second book in the series, Tulia continues her journey. Only now she has the 2 men who showed up at the diner in the first book still following her. She arrives at her new campground and she is next to a nice family. Her ex boyfriend calls and tells her he knows that she wont the lottery and that he deserves 1/2. She also stumbles on another murder. She gives her report to the police and then high tails out of there. She drives until she is tired and then looks for a small out of the way place. She comes across one that doesn't even have a name. She is the only camper so she feels like she will be ok. Until the family from the last campground show up as well as the 2 guys following her. Now she has all of this plus the crazy ex to deal with but she takes it all in stride.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review
Tulia's continuing adventures in her Lottery winnings RV. Murder in Michigan and a serial killer in Wisconsin. This girl needs a break! Now her problems from home are following her. Her ex boyfriend is begging for her money. Says he will tell everyone about her millions. Then everyone will be asking for money. She also has two P.I.'s following her. They thought she was the killer! Idiots! Samuel is not taking her at her word. Marc gets shot, following Paige Hobbs into the woods. Paide and Tulia go to her RV for safety, and find the killer hiding in there . Martin Hobbs, Paige's dad, fights this Jackson guy, and Samuel comes in to arrest him.
Tulia gets to drive around Wisconsin and see some of the favorite spots of the Hobbs family .
Now she's off, to adventure #3!

This is the 2nd book int series about Tulia Blake and her RV adventure. She’s starting out to see the country after buying an RV. Her travel buddy is a parrot named Cicero. She had left Michigan and headed into Wisconsin to camp and check out the area. She heard about a serial killer on the loose so she wanted to camp somewhere safe. She thought that’s what she’d done, but one of the tent campers is found dead. And the two private investigators are still following her. I enjoyed seeing what transpires and now that she’s back on the road, I ready to follow her next adventure in the series.
Good addition to the series. I enjoyed investigating with Tulia but found a few things odd about the story. I wanted more detail of the areas she was visiting as she is traveling the country; instead, all we got was a description of the campground where she was staying. I did like the explanation of why the people in the SUV were following her but their story didn’t make sense if they had done any research and could easily be disproved. Otherwise, I look forward to the next.
The second book is even better than the first. Tull is leaves Michigan in the RV and heads to Wisconsin only to hear there is a serial killer on the loose. She soon sees the black SUV from Wisconsin following her. The action and mystery pick up from there. A fun read.
Once again Patti Bennington has created an imaginative and well written story. The storyline is interesting and the murder mystery well thought out and creative. Her characters are so much fun and are not perfect. They are prone to losing their cool periodically but are endearing to the reader. Kudos to the author! Can’t wait to see what Tulia will get caught up in next.
So glad I found this series. I listen text to speech as my eyesight is so poor. This writer's books are very user friendly for listening.. Not too many characters, the storyline is concise to follow, and the shorter length is perfect. I'm a true Banning fan! Am ready for RV cozy #3!
No gore, no sexual descriptions and no swear words. Just a cozy book about a girl traveling in Wisconsin and Even though there is a serial killer on the loose that does not go into a big discussion. Interesting With her camping at campgrounds and meeting people. Just a nice book to sit and enjoy and take your mind off the world for a few hours.
Two RVs that look the same but this trip isn't the same.
How can you prove you are just out to enjoy a trip through the state. The problem is a serial killer is also doing the same thing. Now the fun thing is proving who is the killer and then what to do next. Let's go onto the next state.
Who knew Wisconsin could be so dangerous? Tully finds herself in Wisconsin and there us a serial killer on the road. Will she be able to outlive this roaming serial killer?
This time Tulia is headed to the great state of Wisconsin. A serial killer is on the loose & she finds herself in the middle of a couple of pretty big mysteries. Pick up a copy to see how it all plays out. I can’t wait to see what state she goes to next.
Tulia's next stop is Wisconsin, only to learn by the radio there is killer on the run. The person is killing campers! Tulia's is sure she will be okay, till she meets the Hobbs family! Enjoy this fun cozy thriller and see who is in the forest.
So the love affair between me, Tulia and Cicero the parrot was too hot not to cool down; it crashed and burned in Wisconsin where I will be leaving T&C. Too many loose ends, wandering story lines and a heroine too credulous to be believed. Sorry, Cicero, you were great!
Another enjoyable fast paced adventure. So much excitement is packed into this quick story. We learn just a little more about some characters, a bigger sub story is beginning to develop. Excited to be off onto the next adventure!
20 years ago I would not have been surprised to read Warned in Wisconsin in the Ellery Queen Mystery magazine. This is a very good novella that is worth continuing.
If you are a busy person, and love cozy mysteries- this is proving to be a great series! Each book takes a few hours of reading time and leaves you guessing until the final reveal of “who’s done it!” Truly recommend.
Tulia has crossed over into Wisconsin and pulls into a campground hoping for some quiet hiking time after her adventure in Michigan. She finds out there is a serial killer on the loose. I really enjoy these short reads and love Tulia as a character and this is a really wonderfully written series.
I traveled through this cozy mystery quickly. Who is the killer? Who is the next victim? Who is haunting Tulia? Is Wisconsin safe to visit? So many questions for our hero and her feathered sidekick, it will keep you guessing.
