Komiya, étudiant à l'université, emménage dans une vieille maison pittoresque qui fait également office de librairie. Le propriétaire, Yôzô, est un homme réservé et un peu distrait, mais Komiya l'apprécie instantanément. Ceux-ci parviendront-il à l'aider à retrouver son apparence d'adulte ? D'autant que Yôzô semble cacher

Un universitari sense un duro comparteix casa amb un llibreter i l'ajuda en el negoci a canvi d'un lloguer ben rebaixat. El jove té un crush com una casa de pagès amb el propietari, un home de mitjana edat seriós, però amable. De sobte, un terratrèmol fa descobrir el negoci tapadora de la llibreria quan al propietari li cau aigua rejovenidora i es converteix en un nen: en realitat l'home es dedica a la compravenda de miracles i objectes divins. Les aventures i els girs de guió no s'aturen aquí, però el noi es manté ferm i decideix ajudar el propietari en tot el que pugui, amb l'esperança d'anar-lo coneixent i qui sap, tenir alguna possibilitat amb ell. La cosa es complica quan descobrim que el llibreter és un déu ancestral que ha perdut la seva ànima... Una altra història entranyable de Tacocasi amb elements fantàstics, plena de girs inesperats i molt ben narrada :) com a única pega, al final li falta una mica d'intensitat pel meu gust ^^'

There are lots of elements I liked. We have a soft, nice, diligent mc. A stoic, mysterious, but ditzy ml. We have magic elements. A very slice of life, slow story. The ml turning into a kid could have been problematic, but luckily, it doesn't cross lines, imo (I also appreciate that this is shonen-ai). I don't appreciate smut in family/kid based storylines. It's done horribly sometimes with people who can't write well (I'm hoping it's just poor writing 😕). I still am uncomfy that the love interest turns into a child for most of the day. So a big content warning for you if that could ick you out completely.

I am a huge fan of domestic stories about families, so this did check the boxes. Eating meals, shopping for clothing, and navigating a new family dynamic. I did find it cute the ml has to rely on the mc because of the limitations of his body and appearance.

okay so, first, i like the artstyle. so neat and pretty!! and the supernatural element is a cherry on top. the thing is when i discovered this manga, i just low-key judged it by its cover and to finally read it and perceived everything in this manga........ i'm not a fan of the mc (this is my toxic trait), i expected something funky in his character but turned out he's so typical and bland (no offense ☝🏻). BUT..... but ..... kid version youzou issoooo adorable, it's their saving grace ig. i bear to read this whole manga till the end because of his cute little mannerism. love him!! i wanna gather him in my arms.... so so baby.

Komiya es un estudiante de posgrado con dificultades económicas. Conoce a Youzou Nishi, dueño de la librería Nishi, mientras busca alojamiento y comida asequibles, que este último había anunciado a cambio de atender la librería ocasionalmente. Tras vivir un mes con Youzou, Komiya queda prendado. Pero Youzou es un gran misterio. Además de regentar una librería, también tiene otro trabajo del que Komiya no sabe mucho, salvo que todos sus clientes parecen de otro mundo. Komiya no piensa mucho en ello hasta que un terremoto y un agua rejuvenecedora convierten a Youzou en un niño. Resulta que Youzou también regentaba una casa de empeños de milagros sagrados para dioses.

Tacocasi sensei’s latest work is taking cuteness to a new level. I’m always fascinated about Japanese methodology, this artist does a great job combining historical elements into modern day life, blurring the lines of fantasy and reality.

The seme is an antique bookstore owner with an interesting hidden business of trading goods from the gods.

The uke is a poor university student who’s renting a room upstairs and helping to watch the bookstore part-time.

Awww, so the gods actually encounter the same $$$ problems as human… Popularity of the god will affect the amount of donation/funding and thus impact the preservation of the shrine… Everybody’s gotta hustle to make a living!

Due to an accident, the seme transforms to a young boy form most time in the day, so he needs to be taken care of and protected by the uke!

Will the two succeed in their adventure into the unknown? What’s the seme’s true identity? How will they overcome the difficulties due to their circumstances?
