Very entertaining collection of stories that is well worth a read. The stories are varied and well written, each with an undeniable amount of originality and soul. I think it would be difficult for someone to read through this book and not thoroughly enjoy at least a few of them.
I'm very excited for the second volume.

Twin Candles, Traffic Stop, and Vacui were my favorites, but I enjoyed every story contained within.

A collection of short stories from the Unreal Press gang featuring pieces from all of the figureheads associated with the group as well as a handful of names from the /lit/ community I wasn’t familiar with
Eclectic range of genre fare and thrills, somewhat horror adjacent or full on; some are wholly original and can’t be easily categorized
Some were very playful with language
Some had a pulse and were engaging from their first sentence
Some made me bored and felt like a chore to finish
I’ve seen others enjoy the ones I didn’t so maybe those will resonate for you

My favorites were
Traffic Stop by Zulu Alitspa
The Collapse of H.M.S. Mariana by Daniel Gavilovski
KBG Agents from Beyond the Stars by James Krake
Vacui by Ogden Nesmer
The Branca by L.A. Labuschagne

A fantastic homage to golden age paperback horror, this collection of imaginative stories spans the gamut from great to grody, and leaves the reader dazzled and at times entirely lost for words.
Particularly notable authors in this anthology include Daniel Gavilovski, David Herod, and Ogden Nesmer.

A nice collection of creepy stories. My favorite was The Collapse of HMS Mariana. Twin Candles was also pretty good. Reminds me a little of classic Scooby Doo--but not for children. Pretty easy to read in one sitting.

Take it from an objective third party, this is the best collection of horror you'll ever read. At least, until the 2nd issue of Tales.
