The reading part was very good and the glossary provided was super helpful. As for the grammar part... Too few exercises for each lesson, too many grammar points discussed for each lesson, neither of them in a too detailed way. Each grammar item provided with translation and 2-3 sample sentences but that was it. The exercises are a mix of all items introduced in each topic and most exercises are multiple-choice questions which gives little practice of the structures. As an introduction to each item it might be ok, but you will need something more to practice them. Overall, I especially liked the reading section, though it was scarce (just 15 readings in total) in comparison to grammar which takes 3/4 of this book. Would be better if proportions were split 50:50 or even divided into 2 separate books. I would gladly buy the reading one.
