Sir David Cannadine FBA FRSL FSA FRHistS is a British author and historian, who specialises in modern history and the history of business and philanthropy.
A good collection of essays on History and Historian. Most of which are thought provoking and two of which, on the Industrial Revolution and Heritage, are excellent. The collection is only let down by the sometimes odd choice of subject, that will be of interest to a very small audience (even by history standards), such as the essay about Last Night of the Proms.
