Silvertip: A Year in the Life of a Yellowstone Grizzly

Rate this book
“Silvertip” is a grizzly bear in Yellowstone National Park. He’s big and scary—some of the time. He’s playful and brave – some of the time. And he’s almost always hungry. In other words, Silvertip is a typical male grizzly bear, and this book shows you how he lives through a year in Yellowstone National Park. You’ll learn about what he eats, where he goes, and how he gets along with wolves, other bears, and even park visitors like you.

I read this children's book in a gas station gift store near Glacier National Park. Great story to teach kids about the lives of Grizzlies and the other animals they interact with!
