I wish Chatham's Clark City Press was still around. Hell, I wish Russell Chatham was still around period. The aesthetic of the books, the choices made in what was published ... I just love everything about it. Small presses are the best.

With Gerber, he's been in my orbit for years but I've only read a poem or two here and there. This was my first dedicated read and it doesn't disappoint. His quiet approach to observation is something I strive for and I take much inspiration from these pages. The poem, "The Life of the Fox" really got me.
