They are watching us, these ghosts of the North. They cook breakfast, play cards, mine gold, turn on radios, and play the piano. HAUNTED ALASKA is a collection of ghost stories that will raise the hair on the back of your neck. These astonishing stories tell of miners terrorized by spirits wandering their claims, of roadhouse owners visited daily by ghosts, and of reindeer herders who run in fear as one of their own departed comes back in spirit form to continue his duties after death.
The only interesting thing in this book was that I was familiar with many of the places written about, because I had lived in and travelled around Alaska for several years. The stories lacked detail and weren’t really scary or creepy. They were, however, somewhat interesting tales of haunts and unusual occurrences that I had been unaware of previously.
Ok this was a small book but took me abit to read it since it was interesting but a little creepy also..it's about different areas of Alaska and Canada that are suppose to be haunted by ghosts..if u like ghost stories and some history then u will like the book.
“This book reveals many strange hauntings, of one sort or another. But the connecting message they bring is that we are not alone. There are dimensions and principalities beyond those we can see, with mysteries that baffle, amaze, and terrify.”
