I am who I am because of what I've done, where I've been, and who I've loved and lost along the way. I am a thinker. I get lost in my mind and find it a great release to write it down, let it go, walk away, and never look back. I do not live within the conventional. I do not care for rules and guidelines. I rarely follow the traditional poetic outline. Some find it appalling, others love the freedom my writing style gives them when reading. One of my favorite books, "Writing Down the Bones" has helped shaped me from the writer the teachers all wanted me to be, to the writer I always longed to be, and have finally become. Sweet, Wild, Woman, Child... Within this book of poetry you will find it all, sex, love, hate, pain, revenge, trust, fear, lies, truths, any number of feelings spelled out as provocatively as words allow.
