This was a good read. It didn’t really give me that creepy vibe I was expecting, but it was definitely entertaining. The pictures were a nice touch—kind of felt like a mini guide if you ever want to try ghost hunting yourself.
I've tagged it as "nonfiction" because... well... "people thought they saw ghosts" isn't really a lie, I guess. I'm super skeptical about the authenticity of the claims themselves, though, but at least the records themselves aren't exactly wrong. I mostly can't take a book seriously that ends a sentence with an exclamation mark every other sentence.
Probably a fun read for occult fans, not terribly interesting to me.
Quick short read for kids. It focuses on the cities of Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Savannah, Chicago, and San Francisco and looks at several locations in each city that are rumored to be haunted. It's a good quick book for young kids interesting in the subject of ghosts but it definitely doesn't go in-depth. Usually 1-2 haunting events are given about a sentence or two with some brief historical background on the location. For the size of the book, it does a nice job of background information but it most definitely is a kid's book.
This story is about spooky spots in Philadelphia, Georgia, Washington D.C., and San Francisco too. There are cemeteries, ghosts, and haunted places. Open this book if you dare. I give this book 5 stars because I really liked learning about ghost. by Jaylen
This is a book based on stories of the TV show, Haunted History. It's a show I love and I thought it was neat there was a book about the stories. It is written for younger readers, but still a good read. I liked it.
