Nick Sharman Mystery #17

All the Empty Places

Rate this book
It takes an expert to handle violence in fiction and Timlin is an expert."""" - Sunday Telegraph The sixteenth Sharman novel finds Sharman up to his eyes in trouble. It's not just the girl he's involved with or her heavy-duty ex-boyfriend who has promised violent retribution on anyone who gets involved with her. There is also the bent brief planning an audacious multi-million pound robbery, his beautiful sister, and a bunch of heavy duty thugs tooled-up like an ordance factory. It's tough, it's torrid, it's Timlin.

This is a slick, clever, nasty East London thriller. I had not read anything by Timlin before, and while it was well written and the plot was clever it is not a genre that appeals. If cynical, macho heroes with a neat line in self-deception are to your taste, this book will be for you.
