This has some interesting ideas, but I find the structure (1 idea/activity a day--365 total) both unworkable and unsearchable. No parent, no matter how committed, is going to be able to do one of these every day, but there is really no way other than paging through to find ideas! There is an index, but for example I looked at one day's activity, "bake yeast bread" (yeah right), and neither "bread" nor "bake" is in the index! So how would one find that entry other than paging through? Giving away.

This is a neat book with a different activity or fact to learn about each day that spans a broad range of cultures all over the world.

I like how this one was set up as a one-a-day craft/info thing. Could be very useful in supplementary social/global studies education.
