This sweet, second chance romance set in the Wild West will have you rooting for the hero until the very end. A determined, courageous woman must choose between two good men. One that can provide for her. The other holds her heart. When Chantilly Walsh’s older brother is gunned down outside a Carson City saloon, she’s determined to save her younger brother from the same fate and keep him safe. Wealthy rancher, Daniel Braddock, sets his sights on her--offering stability and security. Then the adventurous Pony Express rider, Blaze Steele, gallops into town and captures Chantilly’s heart—until a terrible misunderstanding changes everything. Chantilly is set to marry on Valentine’s Day. The only question is, which man will she choose?
The action in this story was quite something, honestly didn't have a clue what would happen next. But that pony express rider was definitely a hero in my book.
Chantilly had to grow up the hard way. Then her brother is murdered. Will she ever learn the truth about his death? Blaze is her childhood sweetheart but will he be able to provide for her by riding the Pony Express? Daniel a wealthy rancher has promised to give her everything she would ever need. Will she marry for money or marry for love? This was definitely a good read.
I received a copy of this ebook in a Goodreads giveaway. I wasn’t really convinced about the feelings the two main characters claimed the have for each and I found the conflict involving Chantilly’s brother May kind of dumb.
