Roy Jacobsen was a Norwegian novelist and short-story writer. Born in Oslo, he made his publishing début in 1982 with the short-story collection Fangeliv (Prison Life). He was winner of the prestigious Norwegian Critics Prize for Literature.

Krimaktig men likevel lys og lett. Med detaljer fra en ubehagelig tid man aldri helt får taket på. Ikke helt Roy Jacobsen som jeg er vant til men likevel er det noe med detaljene.. (4,5 tror jeg). En av de bedre krimbøker jeg har lest. Absolutt.

I did not like that story one bit. Way too confusing. I still don't really know what it was about.
