The rules are simple. Share a studio space with my rival while we fake date for a publicity stunt. And under no circumstances, fall in love.
To everyone, Amelia Drakos is the happy, beautiful rock star onstage in the world famous band Times Three. But behind closed doors, her world is unraveling around her while she slowly sinks under the watchful eyes of millions of people. He’s the face of a new upcoming band, Triple Threat. He’s grumpy and rough around the edges with only two goals—be more successful than his rivals and stay far away from alcohol.
But when Levi Miller’s studio burns down suddenly, he has no choice but to share a studio space with Times Three. Both bands are furious with the arrangement, and they definitely show it. But after weeks of being stuck together in one building, a rumor escalates that Amelia and Levi are having a scandals romance, and that sparks an idea for both of their managers—the two stars should fake date for a publicity stunt. The deal seems simple but is torture for the two.
But after a while of forced proximity, Amelia’s and Levi’s feelings aren’t straightforward. One moment, they hate each other, and then the next, their fake touches seem anything but unreal. What can they lose when they finally give in to what they truly desire after months of bickering and being forbidden to love one another? Everything.

my roman empire is him going on stage wearing an “i ❤️ my gf” shirt, buying her flowers and keeping one so he knows when to buy new ones, and buying tons of jolly ranchers so he can pick out the pink ones and give them to her bc theyre her fav
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Amelia and Levi are rivals from two different band that is until there is a little bit of fake dating involved 🎸🎸 I really loved their stories they both have their own issues but work through them together and its just fun to read🫠🫠 The reason it is four not five stars is because you build up to the conflict and its over within the span of a Chapter I wanted more, they have been hinting at it since the first book and it just was resolved to quickly for me Overall, everyone deserves a Levi 💞💞
First of all, a big big thank you to Alexia for giving me the chance and her trust to read her book earlier in order to give my honest opinion
Reading this book made me so happy. I remember reading Identity when it was still an ongoing story on wattpad. Look where we are now, years later reading Amelia's story!!
➳ My love for Amelia is endless, she is the epitomy of sunshine trying her best not to trouble the world with her own problems meanwhile she struggles on her own. We get to see her jouney throughout the book in a way that many people relate. Levi and her together do something to me. They are perfect for each other
➳ Leonidas, sorry but for now I may like Levi more. He has a really nice character development and he is the bad boy we all love! You can see how much they help each other get better.
➳ Trinityyyyy. I love her. Especially in this book. She's me if I could directly speak to Amelia. I love that we got to see her again. Elijah too. He is so funny for what
If you're thinking about reading this book please do!! I'm sure you wont regret it;)
DNF im so pissed! it had SO much promise and the story was ruined because of a fanfiction type of writing! literally there are scenes SO cringeworthy i wanted to die.
Hi when are you posting the second book I’m just asking cuz I’m really excited to read it no pressure tho it’s just ur books are so good that I can’t wait for this one
it definitely wasn’t a HORRIBLE book but for a quick light read, I was a little disappointed. the characters weren’t bad and I liked the dynamic between the siblings (both Amelia’s and Levi’s) but once Levi started calling her “honey”, that’s when it went a little mhmm bad. it was fine at first but if you’re saying “honey” during sex, that’s where I have an issue😭. I had to pause every time “honey” was said for a good minute and it wasn’t just this one word but there were a lot of phrases and sentences that had me saying “okay buddy” and NOT in a good day. It wasn’t bad for a quick read, but I definitely cringed MULTIPLE times throughout the book, honey;).
1. not seeing a lot of side relationships and their development. don’t get me wrong, they were there, i just didn’t connect to the friendships and sibling bonds and stuff as much as i connected to the romance between levi and amelia. but this is a romance book so i guess that’s normal. i also didn’t read the first book though which covered amelia’s best friend and amelia’s brother who is in her band and i want to assume that much more relationship development was done in the first book. i didn’t mind not having much side relationship development, though. this was an amazing quick read that i probably won’t get super attached to but i had a good time and it was different from the romances i usually read! levi is also just hot as fuck <3
2. trinity was annoying. idc if she was the female lead in the first book, she annoys the fuck out of me. get your nosy ass out of amelia’s sex life. she was just a yapper and i KNOW i would not be able to persevere through book one of this series if i ever decided to solely because of trinity LMAO. she had me skipping her scenes😣
3. stella was a fucking cockblock, like somebody come get this kid, ffs
what i liked:
1. levi😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍he was so hot and obsessed with amelia and i want a carbon copy of him for my future bf
2. amelia💕💕💕💕i love when female leads have problems with anxiety (in this case social anxiety and the anxiety of always being watched since she’s famous). the way she reacted to the pressure and how the anxiety portrayed itself within her was really relatable (even though most of us will never see fame). i liked seeing her development with her eating disorder as well, she was always trying to recover but the author did an amazing job at showing just how hard that is and that it’s not always a one step process. amelia was an amazing portrayal of the struggle. i also liked that the ed was not “fixed,” by levi but he did kind of assist in trying to improve her body image. he never stopped telling her about how beautiful she was and how much he loved her.
3. enemy rivals to lovers with rockstars trope. i’ve never read one of these tropes in a book but now i need recommendations because i enjoyed it a little TOO much.
4. the smut. if all else fails, just know that it was top tier.

“So, why do you feel like that’s any different from you? I love you for your heart, for who you are. I love your laugh, your smile that brightens my entire world, the way your face lights up when you eat chocolate-covered strawberries, or the way you dance randomly throughout the day. I adore the way your heart cares so deeply for the people around you. I’m obsessed that you love pink so much, to the point where you’ve made it your entire personality; the way you instantly make me feel safe; the way you welcomed Stella into your life with open arms, not caring at all that she’s part of the package; and the way you don’t treat me like fine china because of my addiction … because you believe in me.”
These kind of love confessions are truly the most authentic and beautiful
⚠️TW: eating disorder, Alcoholism, body dysmorphia, emotional and physical abuse⚠️
First of all i want to thank Alexia for letting me read this book before its out🥹 i already fell in love with identity when i read it on wattpad for the first time and i have it in paperback. I so can't wait for Elijahs story!
Want to read a hot steamy but fluffy enemies to lovers? Then Imposter is the book you need to read!
I don't think i will have the right words to describe how good this book is! Its also very clear how the growth of writing happened into the next book!
The slow burn in their romance and the fake dating that turns into just the need for each other🥵 Levi is just the perfect book boyfriend, towards everyone else he seems grumpy but for the persons he loves the most he is so sweet and caring. Having a sweet spot for his girls! Amelia with her smart mouth and jokebook. And Levi couldn't just shut up with talking back. I did love that we got to know more of Amelia her back story! Her eating disorder more into the spotlight. She seems all sunshine and happy as we got to know in the first book, and some hints already to her ED
The book was not just focused on Levi and Amelia, but also on the sibling bond Amelia has with her two brothers and the friendship with trinity which warmed my heart a lot. Lets not also forget the bond between Levi and his younger sister to who my heart melted for by the way🥺
I don't know what you are still doing here if you have not read Identity and are not running yet to buy Imposter as well!🩷
I didn't love this book, but it was good to read during the winter break. The writing wasn't terrible but it was kinda repetitive sometimes and that was a bit annoying ,I also feel like the mental health problems were carried out in a weird way and without knowing much about them. Still it was entertaining and super easy to read, I finished it like in 2 nights, even tho the sex scenes were super cringy
I read the first book just under a year ago and didn’t remember too much so going into this book was a bit confusing. There are so many plot holes if you aren’t reading it in order to the series which I kind of got annoyed at because even though the plot line and the main characters are different, all the key themes are the exact same.
Levi was such a horrible disgusting person at the start and we really didn’t get to see the progression of character growth from him - it just jumps straight from, I despise this girl she’s my rival, to I need to protect her she is everything to me.
Also kind of felt as though when Amelia and Levi shifted from their mutual hatred and disrespect to falling for one another, their personal issues - Alcoholism and ED - were brushed under the rug and spoken about significantly less. They made the pact and then Amelia never once again addressed her bulimia. It was only said that she was eating which is not at all a simple or easy turnover, especially with how long she's been dealing with it and the severity. It lacked depth in that sense.
Overall though, the writing felt immature and gave off a fan fiction vibe. The third act breakup was so unnecessary in my opinion because the so called “evidence” that caused it was literally just an assumption over a single small event. Also I really didn’t like how she kept saying Levi was exactly like her brother, that was just weird to me.

IMO the writing wasn't very good. I haven't read the first book, but I still feel like the story could have been told better. The storyline just didn't flow. Anyway, the MCs - Levi was an interesting character, maybe a little too soft for my taste (just didn't make sense to me). What's a shame - i think if we were given more of his past, he would have had more depth. Amelia... I'm not a fan.
tropes: ✨ rivals to lovers ✨ fake dating ✨ forced proximity ✨ forbidden romance ✨ slow burn
⚠️ TW: eating disorder, body dysmorphia, alcoholism, emotional abuse ⚠️
first of all, i want to thank alexia for trusting me enough with amelia and levi’s story, for always supporting me and most of all for being the person she is. i gained a fictional found family with this universe but i also gained an amazing friend, the trinity to my amelia 🥹
i don’t think i have enough words to describe this book, this story, this relationship development. everything was so well written, from the fake dating to the slow burn, everything was PERFECT. amelia and levi’s story made me fall in love with this universe a little bit more than i already was. levi is the perfect book boyfriend: grumpy but with a soft spot for his girls and i loved every single pov of his. his character development was out of this world. AND HIS DIRTY MOUTH? don’t even get me started on that. i fear he might swoop into my top 5 book boyfriends. just like amelia, i fell in love with his words, he just has a way with them. amelia….what to say about her? amelia was already was one of my favorite characters since book 1, my favorite broken sunshine girl. i feel like some girls that suffer from the same that amelia always feel like their trauma is overlooked and alexia just explained it perfectly.
this book was pure perfection and i can’t move on from it (it’s been less than 1 day), i can’t wait for elijah’s book, my favorite clown. also i can’t NOT mention the elijah and amelia and the elijah and trinity moments, they completely warmed my heart, i love them forever 😭 alexia has done it again and if you haven’t read identity i honestly don’t know what you’re waiting for!
Not proud to admit but I DNFd 70% through purely because i wasn't connecting to the characters... I just felt they were a bit contradictory and idk, maybe I was just mood reading and it didn't fit my mood
Poorly written both grammatically and plot wise. It read like unedited fanfiction. It made me cringe a lot, the smut was not my thing, and I did not enjoy the relationship dynamic at all. And talk about trauma overload. Everyone needed to have a dark and painful past to try and make it interesting. Definitely not my thing.
Disclaimer: I’ve not read any of the author’s other works yet, this was the first book I picked up by them purely from some reel on instagram I’d seen.
Start to finish of the book the only thing I kept thinking was how it felt like a middle schooler was writing this book. Like it’d be a good starting place for Wattpad or something like that, but the story itself feels like a fan-fiction trying too hard. I understand that the tropes in the story like ‘rivals-to-lovers’ or ‘fake dating’ are widely liked in the romance genre, but only when done right and unfortunately Imposter doesn’t really do it much justice. I started the book with high expectations and finished it with my only thought being ‘please let this not get worse.’
Now that that’s left my system, let’s be real: neither Amelia nor Levi as characters are badly written. Yes some exchanges between the two made me slightly cringe, but I absolutely loved the playful banter they’ve got going on throughout the book. The character depiction was unfortunately not strong enough for me to be rooting for them wholeheartedly, but it was a nice endearing storyline, especially with Stella. Frankly I think I’d much rather read the book from Stella’s POV, because that child was my saving grace in the book when the writing threw me off 😭🤌
Oh and the smut. I’m usually all for the smuttiest stories but the amount of times the word ‘dick’ is mentioned in the book is a little appalling to me. I skipped through a few pages of Lia and Levi doing it because it felt a) repetitive, and b) some of sexual things mentioned in the book are too much to be possible on a realistic front (like her giving him a lap dance on stage AND hitting high notes while being out of breath from his actions ‼️⁉️😭As a performer I can promise you it doesn’t work like that, you can’t hit your notes if your breath control isn’t on point 🤡)
Giving it a 2.25/5 ⭐️ (at best) for the effort and the banter, hopefully the other books in the series would be better, in all aspects 💀
Ps. I also found a typo while reading and that kind of threw me off entirely 🥲

4.5 ⭐️ This story was so sweet and I loved seeing the connection between Levi and Amelia so so much, I loved seeing their banter yet care so deeply for one another. I also loved seeing the connection between Amelia and Levi’s sister especially the way she cared for her! I did however cringe at some parts and felt as though the ending was a bit rushed with 3x’s father like we were all looking up to that point and to seeing his down fall just for it to be over in 3 pages. I liked seeing Levi and his protective side especially when it comes to the people he loves. Now my originals Trinity and Leo also did disappoint me a bit just the fact Leo acted to angry but at the same time it was understandable and I liked how he reacted more towards the end when the truth of Amelia and Levi came out. Trinity was sweet she didn’t really have much of a role but it was nice to remember more about her character given that I haven’t read the series in a while. I wish we saw more of their mom and more of Trins new dog Nala??? I don’t know to me no one can replace Simba he actually had an important role in my heart. Now for Elijah poor boy also can’t catch a break especially with their father, I can’t wait to read about his story like the trauma he went through and the growth he’ll hopefully have, everyone knows he deserves the happiness I hope another character can help bring to him! I also like seeing the real representation of Alchoholism and Eating disorders given that most authors mention the difficult topic but fail to do the subject justice, I didn’t feel that way at all about this book though and I was truly rooting for both Levi and Amelia to slowly and hopefully win their battles! This was a very fast read for me to the point I couldn’t put the book down and stayed up wayyy to late for my own good. Although this book does deal with some more serious topics I would still recommend it just be aware of the matters before jumping in! Can’t wait for the next Drakos story!

This is a romance book that has Grumpy×sunshine, fake dating, and enemies to lovers trope, and I love all of these tropes so much. I completed this book in one sitting, and trust me when I say I literally devoured this book. It was so good. So our main characters, Levi Miller and Alexia Drakos, are both from rival bands, and their company forced them to fake date. They hated each other so much that they couldn't even stand each other and bandmates of other group. Amelia and Levi used to bicker a lot, and they both had such a dirty mouth, and Amelia used to tease him so mucb. I really want y'all to read this book, so I want to give you any spoilers. So Amelia has an eating disorder, and Levi was recovering alcoholic. They both had their issues and what I liked about the book was that author didn't make it impractical by saying their issues erased as soon as they fell in love because obviously in real life that's not what happens but ofcourse things became better for them after they fell in love. I loved Levi so much because he was literally morally grey character and could kill anyone who touched or made Amelia sad. His protectiveness was romantic, and the way he loved him was blissful to read about. I think every girl wants to be loved that way, I'll be lying if I say I don't. Also, there was one incident in the book that is engraved in my heart. So Levi sent Amelia a big bouquet of flowers but kept one for himseld so when she asked why did he keep one he said, "so I can know when to get you new one." I melted at that point, and so did Amelia. I think these were the small gestures that made Levi the perfect boyfriend. It is a perfect romance book that has the perfect amount of spice, a great story and plot, romance, love, and trauma. It is a full package book which I think every book lover specially people who are die hard romance book fan will love. If you're someone who wants to read romance books but doesn't know what to read, THIS IS YOUR BOOK. If you're someone who loves reading romance books but is doubtful, THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO READ IT.
You cannot understand how fast I’ve fallen for this book. It was such an amazing book to read I wish I could delete it from my brain and re-read it again! It’s one of the best books I’ve ever read, and tbh I’m so happy 2025 is starting with a five ⭐️ read.
Amelia and Levi are Goals, starting as rivals they fake date but fall in love so quickly they are just meant for eachothers. They both struggle with mental health but together they are healed.
I adore Levi’s little sister, Stella, she is the cutest!! I was giggling so hard while reading, and smiling like a fool it got me kicking my legs while reading. The relationship between the characters is just amazing especially with XThree, these triplets and my fav in the whole Wilde world. The way Levi was Helping Amelia whenever she needed it and the way he would constantly remind her how beautiful she is makes it 10times better.
He keeps a flower in his apartment from the bouquet to know when to get her new ones!! Isn’t that amazing?? 😭🩷
I 100% recommend reading this romance book, this author is amazing!!!! Levi and Amelia are my fav couple, her relationship with Trinity is even Better!!!! 🤭
