One of the first books in the history of industrial-organizational psychology, a book that essentially helped jumpstart this as a career. The book is historically important and easy to read. It reminded me of what a debt our field had to scientific management.

Great historical perspective written in a conversational manner.

I enjoyed the conversational and practical descriptions. The historical nature of thinking about this topic is interesting. It shows the early ideas contemplated about this developing topic.
