What's good about this book: it's encyclopedic. You should be able to find answers to most basic grammar and style questions. What's not so good: it's encyclopedic. Too much so. The tone is stuffy and condescending. If you're looking for a good grammar book, check out Woe Is I or The Little Red Writing Book, instead.

Long, dry, with too many words. It might come in handy if this is the only book of its kind in your local library. Otherwise look for something better.
