Peter Härtling (1933 - 2017) was a German writer and poet. He was a member of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and he received the Großes Verdienstkreuz for his major contribution to German literature.

Well, another book we read in school. For some reason I never like those books... I don't know if we only read crap in school or if I simply dislike them because we read them in school.
