This is like 4.5 stars but I like to round up.

Interesting premise wherein everyone in this disillusioned party has been wronged by people in some way. They are drawn together to join as a party because of their distrust of others. The art style is pretty detailed, thick/thin lines, more adult grown up looks to characters, detailed armor and clothes, etc. there’s one instance of nudity and it was very nice, I hope they continue with nudity in future volumes. (Some of the characters give room for that so I’m hopeful!) The drawing/scenes are all very different and make the flow feel very fluid.

Very interesting premise that makes this a pleasure to read. The only thing I’m kinda thrown off by is the rating (M). I think this could’ve been rated OT but I’m not sure how that works, maybe further volumes are more graphic?

Very good start for me!
I'm really Intrueged by the characters dynamics and excited to see how they all come together in the future after being betrayed by previous Adventurer parties!

I was fairly excited about this series, mainly because it's a straightforward adventure fantasy. NOT an isekai! None of that 'main character is a real world shut-in who stubbed his toe and now is in DragonQuest world #9437' nonsense.

That being said, my one grip is that it still veers into the typical video game tropes with it's worldbuild (talks of elemental resistance are a little eye-rolling).

But what really sells this story to me is the characters and how they start to deal with what they're going through. There's a solid emotional core to what might otherwise be just another D&D adventure story.

Good story of four disillusioned adventurers who have all been betrayed by people they trusted. Together, they try to learn to work with other people again. Easier said than done, and conflicts arise already on the first mission.

Each character has a good backstory and they seem more interesting than is usual. I'm looking forward to reading more about them.

Illustrations were great, but even with parental advisor on the cover, the gratuitious crotch shots were a bit surprising. The book is read from left to right even though the layout of the drawings is right to left, which is a bit annoying.

I received a free copy from Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review.

I remember watching the anime of this manga based off the light novel and liking the story but was turned off by the crummy animation. I see this is drawn by the same manga artist that did There’s a Demon on the Floor which was a fantastic ecchi semi masterpiece in my eyes, (not completed unfortunately). The art here is excellent so I’m already hooked, plus the story is a good one. I’m looking forward to reading more!

This is an isekai manga, and so far it seems interesting as it speaks about the perspective from characters who get betrayed or double crossed. There are definite fanservice and stereotype roles (this can get annoying fast), but I see the beginnings of a redemption tale. Will be interested to see how this series fares.

Im iffy for this. First off explicit content is why I bought it. One tiny naked scene is less than what non-explicit content shows - LAME.
The idol add in was very stupid.
Otherwise if thats the end of the stupidiy and I take it for what it is I will buy the next one ans see where it goes.

The story is simple and not very developed yet. The characters are designed well yet are a little basic in personality. I feel like this could go very well, but for the first volume not yet. I do look forward to more though.

Nick’s backstory makes a lot more sense in the manga than in the Winter 2023 season anime. I am hoping that this picks up a bit in the next volume.

Cuando lo termine no existía en GR, por eso no lo pude subir.
Quería mas de los héroes desilusionados pero los japoneses decidieron cancelar el manga con solo 6 libros publicados.

This manga ended up being underwhelming for me as a first volume. It was a lot of backstory that I think could have been stretched out in future volumes so we didn't get quite so much infodumping since we had to get set up in this world already.

The characters were alright, if I continue on with the series, I am interested to see them come together more cohesively as a group and take on more monsters. The action scenes were definitely my favourite parts of this first volume!

I'd recommend this if you like guilds and adventurers and a cast of outcasts and underdogs as they strive to get to the top and get back at those that stepped on them before!
